Hi Stamping Friends!
A couple of weeks ago, my local Too Cool Demo Team members got together for a shoebox swap featuring items from the new Spring Occasions Catalog.
Have you ever participated in one of these shoebox swaps? Everyone brings a "shoebox" filled with all the supplies to make their project, and we all rotate boxes and make each other's cards. It's so much fun to participate because we get to try new card ideas and play with products we may not have. For me, it's just about the only chance that I have to enjoy a stamping class as a student! Yay!
Today's Sunday Showcase features the fabulous cards we made at the event. Here we go…
Designed by Rita Berning. Colors: Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake & Whisper White.
We start off the showcase with a beautiful collage card by Rita featuring the Peachy Keen Bundle (wood). The heart and sentiment are from the Peachy Keen stamps (wood) and the filmstrip and arrow are die-cut with the coordinating On Film Framelits from the bundle. Don't forget, you save 15% when you order the bundle!
I love all the layers and details, and they really came together much more quickly than it looks like they wood!

Designed by Jodi Geers. Colors: Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Whisper White.
Jodi designed this sweet and cheerful card using the Happy Watercolor stamp set (wood). We stamped the splotches in Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive, stamped off once for a lighter, watercolor look. The flower and the phrase are from the same set. Also features: Rhinestone Jewels.
Designed by Becky High. Colors: Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake & Whisper White.
Becky designed a Valentine's card with an off-set gate fold, and decorated it with the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. The Apothecary Accents die-cut is stamped with Sale-A-Bration Banner Blast stamps (wood), and it's outlined with Dazzling Diamonds for extra sparkle.
You can see how it opens here. The card base is scored along the 11" side at 3-7/8" and 9-3/8". The Red Glimmer Paper heart is popped up and helps to keep the card closed.
Also features: 3/8" Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon and Pearl Jewels.
Designed by Peggy Tassler. Colors: Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight & Whisper White.
Peggy used the sweet Petite Petals (wood) flowers, punched with the coordinating Petite Petals Punch, to decorate the inset focal point of this card. You can get the stamps and punch together in the Petite Petals Bundle (wood) at a 15% discount.
The Designer Frames embossed oval was punched with the coordinating Extra Large Oval Punch to reveal the Watercolor Wonder Designer Series Paper underneath.
Also features: Bring On The Cake (wood), Perfect Polka Dot Texture Impressions Folder and Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons and Rhinestone Jewels.
Designed by Darla Eigenschink. Colors: Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilla.
Darla got this design idea straight from one of our Stampin' Up! publications. She used the Retro Fresh Designer Series Paper for the background, then added a Perfect Pennants (wood) sentiment, die-cut with the Banners Framelits. Purchase them both together in a Perfect Pennants Bundle (wood) and save 15%.
Like Peggy's card, she also had a recessed window, this time made with the Banners Framelits.
Also features: Silver Baker's Twine and Rhinestone Jewels.
Designed by Vicki Hinen. Colors: Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Crum Cake & Whisper White.
Vicki featured the Fresh Prints DSP on her card, too, this time as a trio of banners. Her tag was made with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and decorated with a Full Heart Punch embossed with the Square Lattice Texture Impressions Folder.
Also features: Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood), Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and Rhinestone Jewels.
Designed by Michelle Hoover. Colors: Whisper White & Gold.
Michelle made her card gold-tacular! Her card features 6 different types of gold accents! The background uses the Gold Fancy Foil Vellum, Gold Foil (which is the dark bottom panel in the photo) and Gold Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape, and is wrapped with Gold Baker's Twine.
The tag, created with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, also features Gold Sequin Trim and Gold Embossed images from the Perfect Pennants (wood) stamp set.
Designed by Kathe Madsen. Colors: Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar & Whisper White.
Kathe used Sale-A-Bration Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper and Decorative Dots Folder for her card background. The scallops are die-cut with Adorning Accents Edgelits.
The Love You To The Moon (wood) sentiment is stamped on a Decorative Label Punch shape and embellished with a flower and leaves punched with the Petite Petals Punch.
