Hi Stamping Friends!

Welcome to this week's Sunday Showcase!

Most of my classes feature cards that have individual designs, so attendees can get a taste of a variety of different techniques & styles.  But, I have to admit that nothing draws me to a class like projects that coordinate!  There is just something about seeing a whole ensemble of matching projects together that makes me want to re-create them—right now!  Do you feel that way, too?!

Today I'm spotlighting cute project ensembles from two of my Too Cool Demo Team members: Rita Berning & Peggy Tassler.  They created these sets as part of a team challenge to put together three projects for a class. Let's see what they came up with…

Sweet Sorbet Ensemble created by Rita Berning.  Colors: Basic Black, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pool Party, Pistachio Pudding, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White.

Sweet Sorbet Ensemble Project #1—Rita's ensemble features the soft colors from the Sale-A-Bration Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper and several other Sale-A-Bration products.  In this first project, she used the floral and striped paper patterns next to texture embossing from the Sale-A-Bration Decorative Dots Folder.  The focal point is punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and accented with the printed cork self-adhesive die-cuts and colored twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack.

Also features: Petal Parade (wood) stamp set, and Regarding Dahlias (wood) sentiment.

Sweet Sorbet Ensemble Project #2—Rita's second project also features the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Pape, but this time she added more stamping with the Petal Parade (wood) set.  I love how the images from that set complement the pattern on the paper.  She used more of the paper to make a tag focal point, again embellished with the Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack

Also features: Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood) stamp set, Word Window PunchScallop Tag Topper Punch, Pearl Jewels and Coastal Cabana Ruffled Stretch Trim.

Sweet Sorbet Ensemble Project #3—For the final project, Rita made a pair of matching bookmarks that would be great to tuck inside the cards as a gift.  She used many of the same supplies including the Petal Parade (wood) set and, of course, the Scallop Tag Topper Punch for the bookmark shape.  This time she added a pretty 7/8" Scallop Circle punch-out and button on second bookmark, as well as some Brights Candy Dots at the bottom.  The Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack twine works perfectly for bookmark tassles!

Also features: Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood) stamp set, Word Window Punch, Regarding Dahlias (wood)  and Pearl Jewels.

In contrast, Peggy went with a bold, festive look for some fun birthday cards!  The geometric shapes and bright colors make it a great choice for guys, as well as girls, at any age!

Kaleidoscope Banners Ensemble created by Peggy Tassler.  Colors: Basic Black, Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate and Whisper White.

Kaleidoscope Banners Ensemble Project #1—Peggy used the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper for the background, as well as for part of the 2-1/2" Circle element.  Then, she added some colorful banners from the Sale-A-Bration Banner Blast (wood) stamp set, punched out easily with Sale-A-Bration Banner Punch.  A few Silver Glimmer Paper accents sparkle it up (way to use up those tiny scraps)!  And, see those three lines coming out from the focal point?  I believe that they are drawn with a White Gel Pen.

Also features: Best of Birthdays Collector stamp set and 1/2" Circle Punch.

Kaleidoscope Banners Ensemble Project #2—Peggy used the same basic elements on her second card, just a little different placement and a different pattern of Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper for the background.  The sentiment is also different…this time from Label Love (wood).  Looks like she used a marker to omit the label shape around the words before stamping.

Also features: 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Banner Blast (wood) stamp set, Banner PunchWhite Gel Pen, Silver Glimmer Paper and 1/2" Circle Punch.

Kaleidoscope Ensemble Project #3—Peggy did one last card with the same elements in a horizontal format with another pattern of Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper for the background.  This time the sentiment is from Gifts of Kindness (wood).

Also features: 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Banner Blast (wood) stamp set, Banner PunchWhite Gel Pen, Silver Glimmer Paper and 1/2" Circle Punch.
