I love mass-producing cards, especially for Christmas time, but the key is to keep it simple! Simple and cute! That's why I love the Snow Festival Designer Series Paper! Between the fun color combination and cute, whimsical designs, Snow Festival is perfect for quick, easy and sweet-looking greetings!
I created this set of four Snow Festival cards at Ronda Wade's Creative Convention. Each uses a different pattern of Snow Festival Designer Paper on the same card layout. Add a quick, coordinating embellishment and More Merry Messages sentiment and you are DONE!
Here are the measurements, so you can get right to it:
- 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base
- 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" background layer
- 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" frame layer
- 3" x 3" designer paper layer
Soft Suede base and frame, Whisper White background, and cute owls print. Cherry Cobbler More Merry Messages greeting and Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon embellishment.
Whisper White card base and frame, Baja Breeze background and snowflake patterns. Snowflake accents from the Snow Flurry Die and topped with a Rhinestone Jewel. Baja Breeze More Merry Messages greeting is punched with the Modern Label Punch.
Cherry Cobbler card base and frame, Whisper White background and houses print. Wrapped in Cherry Cobbler Sweater Trim and More Merry Messages greeting stamped in Cherry Cobbler.
This one is my favorite (I love popped up embellishmentsl)! Baja Breeze card base, with Whisper White background, Primrose Petals frame and stitched pattern paper. I love the super-cute Mitten Builder Punch embellishment with punched mitten tips. They are "tied" with White Baker's Twine, then layered on a Baja Breeze 1-3/4' Scallop Circle Punch and Whisper White 1-1/4" Circle Punch. More Merry Messages sentiment is stamped in Primrose Petals.
The Snow Festival DSP also has printed sheets that would fit perfectly into this card layout…
The package includes two sheets with these 3×3" printed squares. Simply cut them apart for even more variation of your cards!
Using this card design, you can get 192 3×3" decorative squares from one package of Snow Festival Paper. How could it be any easier to create and send out hand-made cards?
