Super Simple & Stunning Holiday Swap Cards
Jodi & Peggy were sure thinking along the same lines when they designed their team swap cards! A few Night of Navy & Whisper White layers, some simple stamping, a die-cut or two and some rhinestones = 2 lovely Christmas cards! Let's take a look at each of them.
Window Layer—Jodi Geers started this card by die-cutting the oval window from a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock with the Layering Ovals Framelits. Next she stamped the Hearts Come Home sentiment in Night of Navy ink at the bottom.
Die-Cut Scene—Jodi die-cut the Hometown Greetings die-cut houses from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. She cut the image with the glimmer side face-down, so it would cut a little easier. Jodi snipped one of the trees from the end and added it next to the one closer to the middle, so both would show up in the window. Next, she adhered the scene to the back of the oval window with some Tear & Tape.
Finishing—Jodi finished the card by popping up the entire window scene layer with a gazillion Dimensionals onto a vertically folded Night of Navy card base. You may have to trim some down for under the houses. She placed one large Rhinestone to the sky to represent the Christmas star, then added a couple more rhinestones around the sentiment.
Bundle It & Save—Purchase the Heart Come Home stamp set and Hometown Greetings Edgelits dies together in a bundle to save 10%!

Stamped Background—Like Jodi's card, Peggy Tassler's card starts off with some stamping and die-cutting. She stamped the beautiful Star of Light swoosh image in Night of Navy diagonally across a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White, then stamped a coordinating greeting at the bottom. Next, she die-cut the star shape with the Starlight Thinlits die.
