Watercolored & "Winked" Carousel Birthday Cards—The sweet street fair images in the Carousel Birthday stamp set make me feel a little nostalgic! It's an adorable birthday set for both kids and adults! It also gives me a chance to use the Watercolor Pencils…my current favorite product!

Background Basics—The 6×6" Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack beautifully coordinates with the Carousel Birthday set and is the perfect size for creating card accents! I adhered a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of the colorful diamond pattern on a Bermuda Bay card base to start off this card.

Cute Carousel—I stamped the Carousel Birthday horse image in Early Espresso onto Very Vanilla card stock, then die-cut it with the Stitched Shapes Framelits circle. I colored the saddle with Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay Watercolor Pencils, then used a Blender Pen to smooth out the color.

Finishing Touches—I added some pretty gold accents with the Gold Wink of Stella glimmer brush. The pole, the ribbons in the horse's mane, and the hooves are all "winked" with touches of gold sparkle! I adhered a two-sided Lace Doily, vanilla side up, to a 2-3/4" square of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL, then popped up the circle over the top. The Espresso layer is also popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Carousel Birthday greeting in Early Espresso ink onto a 3-1/2" x 7/8" piece of Very Vanilla, fishtailed the ends with super-sharp Paper Snips, then popped up with more Dimensionals.

Inside The Card—I stamped the rest of the greeting on the inside with Early Espresso and stamped the tent image in Calypso Coral.

Two Cool—The second card starts with an Early Espresso card base and the strip of DSP adhered flush to the side. I also added a 1/2" strip of Calypso Coral card stock, texture embossed with the Festive Embossing Folder, down the center.
