Sweet Citrus Big Squeeze Limes Card

With it's refreshing two-step images and cool Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies, it's easy to create delightful cards for lots of occasions! I've seen many cards featuring lemons and it's fantastic for limes, oranges and even grapefruit! Here's a fantastic example of a lime card created by Barb Mullikin!

Background Basics—Barb started by embossing a 3-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Parakeet Party cardstock with the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder and mounting it onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock. She added a 3-5/8" x 1-1/4" strip of Flowers & More Designer Series Paper across the middle. That DSP can be purchased only with Stampin' Rewards Dollars that you earn for having an order or party over $150. The layers are mounted onto a Basic White Thick card base.

Sweet Sentiment—Barb stamped the Sweet Citrus circle fruit rind outline in Granny Apple Green onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle die-cut. She added the middle of the lime image in Parakeet Party, then stamped a sentiment from the set in Mossy Meadow. It's adhered over the DSP with SEAL.

Finishing Touches—Barb tied a bow with the Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon and attached it under the circle with a Glue Dot. Perfect!

Sweet Citrus Big Squeeze Grapefruit Card

Michelle Suit created a Sweet Citrus card featuring pink grapefruit and I love the results! She used the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper, which has lots of patterns that work well with Sweet Citrus images.

Background Basics—Michelle created the fun-fold card base with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Mango Melody cardstock, scored at 3-1/4" and 4-1/4". The scored panel was adhered to the inside of the card creating what I call a Photo Album style card. Michelle decorated the skinny panel with a 7/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Rain or Shine DSP and the larger card front with a 3-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Rain or Shine DSP. Perfectly refreshing patterns for a pink grapefruit backdrop!

Great Grapefruit—Michelle stamped the three citrus rind images in Mango Melody ink, then added the inside pulpy sections images with Flirty Flamingo ink. They are die-cut with the Sweet Citrus Dies. She also stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green, cutting them with the dies, as well. They are all popped up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—The Sweet Citrus sentiment was stamped in Flirty Flamingo onto a 2-1/2" x 1-1/8" piece of Basic White, then trimmed at a slant on the ends. It's popped up with Dimensionals, too.

Finishing Touches—Michelle finished up her card with some sparkly Iridescent Pastel Gems. Absolutely delightful!
