Sweet Ice Cream Pull-Up Gift Card Holders Cards
The Sweet Ice Cream stamp set is perfect for birthdays and what a better time to give a gift card than for a birthday gift! These sweet cards allow you to combine the gift card holder and the birthday message in a fun, interactive card!

Ice cream corner gift card holder - bermuda 1

Background Basics—The Bermuda Bay card base measures 4-1/4" x 11" and is scored at the 3-1/4" and 8-3/4" marks. I folded it up like a vertical gate-fold style card, then decorated the panels with Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper: 4" x 3" for the top and 4" x 2" for the bottom. I secured the bottom panel closed by tying some Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon around the entire card front, creating a pocket. No adhesive!

Ice Cream Cone—I punched out an ice cream cone from the cone patterned Ice Cream Corner DSP with the Ice Cream Builder Punch and adhered it to a Basic White Layering Ovals die-cut. It's mounted onto a Calypso Coral Layering Oval die-cut and mounted onto the top panel with Dimensionals. I stamped the Sweet Ice Cream scoop in Pool Party ink onto Basic White, along with some Blackberry Bliss sprinkles on top and punched it out with the Ice Cream Builder Punch. It's popped up with more Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I stamped the Sweet Ice Cream greeting in Bermuda Bay ink onto a 3-3/4" x 7/8" strip of Basic White, fishtail cut the ends and popped it up with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a few Rhinestone Jewels that I colored with a Bermuda Bay Dark Stampin' Blends Marker.

Gift Card Pull-Up—The inside pull-up feature is a piece of Basic White measuring 3-3/4" x 7-1/2". If you watch the video, you'll see that I can't close my card, and I figured out later that it's because I cut this piece too long at 8". Ooops! Score this piece at the 1/2" and 5" marks and fold into a "Z" shape. Adhere the folded back 1/2" tap on the inside back of the card front right along the score line then tuck in the bottom folded panel into the card base pocket. If you want to add a sentiment, as I did in Blackberry Bliss ink, be sure to do it before you adhere it!

Now you have a little pocket to stick a gift card and it will pull-up out of the pocket as the card is open! Too Cool!

Two Cool—I did another version featuring the cool popsicle as the focal point. On this card, I began with Blackberry Bliss cardstock and decorated it with two different patterns of Ice Cream Corner DSP.

Cool Popsicles—I stamped the popsicle stick in Crumb Cake ink onto the white oval and layered it onto a Bermuda Bay scallop oval this time. Then, I stamped the bottom of the popsicle in Blackberry Bliss and the top in Calypso Coral, hand-cut it and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I stamped a Sweet Ice Cream sentiment in Blackberry Bliss onto a 1-3/4" x 5/8" piece of Pool Party cardstock, fishtail cut one end and tucked it under the popsicle. The Rhinestones are colored with Old Olive Dark Blends this time.

Sweet Sentiment—I changed this card into a thank you card, rather than birthday. Either one would work for the inside, though. Fun, fun, fun!
