Sweet Strawberry Delightfully Floral Cards The Sweet Strawberry Bundle isn't only about strawberries! I love all of the pretty flowers in the set and today's cards focus on those lovely blooms!
Background Basics—I started by stamping the Sweet Strawberry large floral image in Granny Apple Green ink along two corners of a traditional Granny Apple Green card base. Next, I created a focal point foundation by layering a 3" x 4" piece of Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper, from the Berry Blessing Sale-a-Bration Combo, onto a 3-1/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Basic Black. The layers are adhered to the card front with SEAL Adhesive.
Floral Focal Point—I stamped the same Sweet Strawberry floral image in Granny Apple Green at the top of a 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Basic White and adhered to the DSP layer. I stamped the outline flower image from the set in Bumblebee ink onto Basic White scrap for the small flowers. I stamped the filler image over the top in the same Bumblebee color. The blooms were punched out with the Strawberry Builder Punch then popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Sweet Strawberry sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2-7/8" x 1/2" strip of Basic White, fishtailed the ends and popped it up, as well.
Two Cool—This second horizontal version begins with a Balmy Blue card base stamped with the floral image in Balmy Blue ink. This time, I chose the pretty blueberry checked DSP pattern for the border layer.
Flower Layers—This time I stamped the sentiment in the lower right corner of the Basic White layer for positioning, then stamped the Granny Apple Green floral focal point. The flowers were stamped in Balmy Blue and Pacific Point. I popped three of them up, while leaving two adhered with SEAL. So sweet!
