Hi Stamping Friends!
It felt so good to be back doing my LIVE Class last night! It was the first one I've done since my maternity leave began last October. You may have noticed that I went live at a different time…Tuesday at 7pm ET. I'm still trying to figure out what time will work best with our new family schedule, so don't be surprised if I change it up a bit until I find the routine that will work for us. I'll do my best to give you a heads-up before I go live, and remember that you can always catch the replay on Facebook or YouTube.
Today, I'm sharing a pair of Sweet Talk cards that I demonstrated on last night's LIVE event.

Sweet Talk DSP Card Front Cards
I love all of the bright and cheerful patterns in the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper pack, so why not show them off! I CASEd this card idea from a swap card made by Kay Cogbill. It's ideal whenever you want to showcase both sides of the DSP!
Background Basics—The card begins with a 5-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of Real Red cardstock, scored along the short side at the 4-1/4" mark. This makes a 1" flap for the front of the card. Next, I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere a 3/4" x 5-1/2" piece of the Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper along the edge of the short flap. I finished by attaching a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Sweet Talk DSP to the inside of that flap to make the card front and cool background.
Focal Point—Melon Mambo isn't officially one of the colors in the Sweet Talk paper, but I thought the lighter hearts in this pattern went well with the color. So, I die-cut a Melon Mambo scalloped rectangle using the Scalloped Contours Dies and popped that up on the card front with Dimensionals. Next, I stamped some Sweet Conversation hearts onto a 1-7/8" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic White using twice stamped-off Melon Mambo and full-strength Real Red. I tied some Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon around the layer, then adhered it to the Melon Mambo label.
Finishing Touches—I stamped the "Luv U" Sweet Conversations heart in Real Red onto scrap Basic White and die-cut with the coordinating Sweet Heart Dies. It's popped up, too. I finished by adding a few of my new favorite embellishment…Iridescent Rhinestones.
Inside The Card—I added a couple of hearts on the inside, too, in stamped off Melon Mambo and full Real Red.
Two Cool—This version begins with a Highland Heather card base, a strip of Mother of Pearl paper and a different pattern of Sweet Talk DSP.
Focal Point—This time my scallop rectangle is in Real Red cardstock. I stamped a larger Sweet Conversations heart in stamped-off Melon Mambo on the background and another one that's also stamped with a Real Red "UR Cute" heart over the top, die-cut and popped up. I also added a 3/8" wide Basic White banner for the Valentine's greeting in Highland Heather ink. Super cute!

I'd Love To Hear From You!
Good to see you again, little girl is getting sooo big. Enjoy every day as they go by really fast.
Looking forward to your future FaceBook live videos, but if you have to go to prerecorded videos for awhile it’s understandable.
Work when you can, but rest when you need to also!
You have such great cards and videos you will always get orders because of that.
Take care of yourself and the little one.
