Texture Chic Vertical Tri-Fold Card
I love this easy fun-fold card because it showcases the beauty of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers by showing both sides! The Texture Chic DSP is particularly gorgeous with it's rich, earthy colors, distressed patterns and stunning gold foil accents!
DSP Card Basics—I started with a 3-3/4" x 12" piece of Texture Chic DSP that I scored at the 1", 4-1/4" and 9-1/4" marks. The first 1" section was folded back, then the other sections were folded inward to create that main structure of the tri-fold card. I adhered the 1" panel so the back of the paper is showing. Then, I adhered the middle panel to a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of retiring Soft Succulent cardstock. It's then mounted onto a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic Gray for a sturdy foundation. I finished by tying some Linen Thread around the top DSP flap; double-knot, trim and fray.
Sweet Sentiment—Next, I stamped a Season of Chic sentiment in Soft Succulent ink onto a Basic White Layering Circles die-cut. I'm so sad to see that Layering Circles Dies set retire…it was definitely a well-used set in my collection!
I die-cut two sizes of leaves with the Chic Dies using the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper. Oooooh, I love how that paper looks with the Texture Chic DSP! I used Glue Dots to adhere them to the back of the circle, then mounted the circle onto a Basic Gray scalloped Layering Circles die-cut. It's popped up onto the card front.
Finishing Accents—The Brushed Metallic Dots look amazing with the Texture Chic DSP, so be sure to add some of those! I added two sizes of bronze colored ones to this card to finish. Loveliness!
Inside The Card—Open up the DSP tri-fold to reveal a nice 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" Basic White writing space. I stamped a Season of Chic swoosh in Pool Party and a Basic Gray leaf over the top. So pretty!
