In this LIVE Class, you’ll make 5 cards featuring the Textured Floral Bundle and Wildly Flowering DSP. The images and die-cuts from the Textured Floral Bundle go beautifully together with the Wildly Flowering DSP, even though they are not presented in a coordinating suite. I also used a few of the cool label and frames die-cuts from the Wildflower Designs Dies, as well as the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder, from the Wildly Flowering Suite. All of the cards are accented with the cool new Textured Dots, also from the Wildly Flowering Suite. It’s a great way to show that there are oftentimes products from outside of a suite that can be added for a different look and more versatility!

Textured Floral Makes Me Smile Card
Oooh…I just love how this class card turned out! The colors are so pretty, but my favorite is the little hidden blossom surprise on the inside.
Background Basics
This card begins with a 7″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Moody Mauve cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4″ mark. I decorated the shortened front panel with a 5-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper. Then, I embossed a 5-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ piece of Moody Mauve cardstock with the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder and adhered it to the inside of the card that shows when the card is closed.
Beautiful Bouquet
I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a Basic Beige circle for the foundation of my focal point. I adhered it so it would hang down past the edge of the card front.
Next, I stamped the Textured Floral images onto Basic White: large flower in Wild Wheat, medium and small flowers in Moody Mauve and flower center in Early Espresso. I die-cut all of the pieces with the Textured Floral Dies. I adhered the flower center to the large flower, stamped small flower centers in Early Espresso ink onto the smaller flowers, then popped them all up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment Label
I die-cut a Stylish Shapes Basic White large banner for the sentiment. I created a two-color greeting by stamping the bottom line in Moody Mauve, then using an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker to color the top line before stamping on the banner. It’s adhered with SEAL adhesive onto the card front.
Finishing Touches
I added a few Textured Dots around the focal point. I just checked the inventory status on these embellishments, which are currently out of stock, and they are now expected back around September 2. (insert sad face here)
Surprise Blooms
I just adore the little blossom surprise on the inside. I stamped the Textured Floral flowers again in Wild Wheat and Moody Mauve onto some scrap Basic White cardstock, added Early Espresso flower centers, die-cut them and adhered them directly behind the front circle element. Delightful!
This is very pretty. Thank you for sharing your card. I even have this stamp bundle. I have never used the stampin write markers.
Write Marker to color the top line before stamping on the banner. I can’t see what it is you colored? What else do you generally use stampin write markers for?
Thank you,
Lora
For this technique, I inked only one line of the sentiment with the ink pad (inking near the edge of the pad), then used the brush tip of the marker to add ink to the second line before stamping onto the paper. This is my favorite use of Stampin’ Write Markers. I love to create multi-color images simply by brushing on the ink color directly onto the stamp. I also use the markers for coloring small places where marker strokes won’t be seen, or simply for writing a message in a coordinating color.
