Snow Is Glistening Joy Wash Card
This stunning card looks even more amazing in person with the Shimmery White cardstock. I love the large snowflake in the flocked White Velveteen Paper for an unexpected texture.
- Squeeze the closed Blackberry Bliss ink pad to get some ink on the lid. Open the pad and use the Aqua Painter to squeeze some water onto the ink. Pick up the ink and “wash” it across the 3-1/2” x 4-3/4” Shimmery White cardstock. Start light. You can always go back and add more color.
- Once the Shimmery White cardstock is dry, adhere it to the 3-3/4” x 5” Blackberry Bliss layer and then mount onto a Thick Whisper White card base.
- Die-cut a large Whisper White Velveteen snowflake and a small Blackberry Bliss snowflake with the Snowfall Thinlits. Attach the snowflakes using Mini Glue Dots.
- Add a Rhinestone Jewel to the center of the snowflakes.
- Stamp the Snow Is Glistening sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.

- Emboss the 4” x 5 ¼” Crumb Cake layer with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.
- Die-cut the large snowflake from the Snowfall Thinlits Dies with using Vellum Cardstock. Then attach it to the embossed layer with a couple of Glue Dots in the center.
- Die-cut the sled from the Alpine Sports Thinlits Dies using Real Red Cardstock. Attach over the top of the snowflake using a couple of Glue Dots.
- Stamp your sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink on a 4” x ¾” piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock. Attach to the front of the sled using Glue Dots. SNAIL adhesive does not stay down but Glue Dots did the trick!
- Attach the 4” x ¼” Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper strip to the top edge of the Bermuda Bay cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. You must hold it for a few seconds, but it will stay!
- Tie a 15” piece of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine around the Crumb Cake layer and tie a bow. Then, attach the whole layer to your Crumb Cake card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Lastly, add a few white Adhesive Backed Sequins to your card front.
