My Top 10 Too Cool Picks!

There are WAY too many fun new items to choose from, so narrowing down my Top 10 Too Cool list wasn't easy!  (I had to cheat a bit by combining some items that just had to go together!)  These are my personal favorites that I can't wait to show you!  I've listed them in the order of how they show up in the Mini (click on the product name to see more details):

    Glimmer paper 121790L

#1 Red Glimmer Paper—Two 12×12" sheets of red glittery paper that are just dying to be punched with little red hearts!  Ooohhh!

    Take a spin 121937L  Game pieces 121893L

#2 Take A Spin Stamps & Game Spinner Hands—Oh, I can see the possibilities with this fun combination!  Create fun spinner cards for birthdays, invitations, showers, and so much more!

Build a blossom 121923L   Blossom petals punch 121808L

#3 Build A Blossom Stamps & Blossoms Petals Punch—Now it's gonna be super easy to create three-dimensional paper flowers!  Stamp the petals and leaves with the two-step stamps, then punch with the perfectly coordinated punch!  See how the same shapes can be either the petals or the leaves?!  Super Cool!

Springtime vintage 121782L   Baby blossoms 122000L

Vintage flower adornments 121879L #4 Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper & Baby Blossoms Stamp Set—Seriously, I LOVE this entire Suite of products!  Yes, it looks a little bit like grandma's housecoat or draperies, but that only makes me adore it more!  Coordinating products include the Springtime Vintage Designer Fabric, Springtime Vintage Big Designer Buttons, Vintage Flower Adornments (that look a little like wedding mints, see at right) and new colors of Seam Binding in Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz and Rose Red.

    Rosettes118774L

#5 Rosettes—These vanilla satin ribbon flowers are a lovely complement to the Springtime Vintage selection.  You can use them as is, or die them for any color of project!  They come in three sizes (1/2", 3/4", and 1") and you get 18 in a package.   Love these!

    Easter blossoms 122057L

#6 Easter Blossoms—Frankly, I've never been one to create too many Easter cards, but this Easter set is very versatile!  The delightful silhouette of the little girl is my favorite, but I can see lots of uses for the blooming branch, too!  You can do lots of different techniques with this set, too: emboss resist, watercoloring, poppin' pastels, and more!  I can see lots of possibilities with this one!

    Create a cupcake 121982L   Build a cupcake 121807L

#7 Create A Cupcake Stamps & Build A Cupcake Punch—I'm a sucker for a stamp/punch combo, but this one is extra-sweet—Cupcakes!  Like the Owl Punch, the Build A Cupcake Punch cuts out all the pieces for decorating your cupcake with sprinkles, a cherry, and even a candle with a flame!  Can you imagine the fantabulous combinations of "flavors" you can create using the stamps and different colors of ink and/or using different colors of Designer Series Paper and card stock?!  Add some embossing folders or heat embossing for texture and the you'll have yourself a whole bakery full in no time!  Neat-O!

Botanical gazette 121783L   Nature walk 121997L

#8 Botanical Gazette & Nature Walk Stamp Set—If you like a little more realistic look to your stamps, you are going to love the Botanical Gazette Suite of products!  I'm not usually a "real-looking" type of gal, but I have to say that this combination really appeals to me!  I'm loving the bird and the butterfly the most!  And, I'm drawn to the warm, muted color palette featuring Marina Mist, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, So Saffron, Not Quite Navy and Vanilla.  So pretty!

    Framed tulips 121809L

#9 Framed Tulips Impressions Folder—Any embossing folder is a must-have for me, but this one is a little different than usual.  I love that it embosses a border all the way around the card leaving the middle part blank.  And, I've already found a tip on how to create borders around smaller sizes of rectangles, too!   I'll be showing you that very soon!

    Windowpanes 121881L

#10 Beveled Windowpanes—These "windows" are a totally cool way to highlight certain elements of your stamped project!  They are clear, beveled acrylic pieces that give the illusion of magnifying the image underneath.  Anchor your Windowpane by running a ribbon or cardstock through the ribbon slide holes on each side.  You've got to see these in person to fully appreciate their awesomeness!

Whoa!  Am I already at 10?!  But, I'm not done yet!

There are still so many fun items that I haven't even mentioned!

Win Too Cool Secret Blog Candy!

Finally, have you noticed a "blossom" theme going on in this post (hint: Build A Blossom, Blossom Petal Punch, Baby Blossoms, Easter Blossoms)?  Well, it's all very fitting for me this year.  I'll explain, and show you some actual project samples, tomorrow!
