And, now the bad news…

Blendabilities Markers Discontinued Due To Quality Issues

Stampin' Up! had recently been working with the manufacturer to try to resolve a quality issue with these alcohol-based markers.  Unfortunately, they have not been able to come up with a long-term solution that meets their high-quality standards.  Therefore, after a great deal of deliberation and in order to prevent further disappointment, the Blendabilities product line has been discontinued.  The Memento Tuxedo Black Ink & Refill Ink will still be available…whew!

Have You Ordered Blendabilities Markers?  If you already have these products on order but have not received them, you will be contacted and offered either a refund for purchased markers, or the opportunity to select another Sale-a-Bration choice if you earned them as a FREE item. 

Not All Markers Are Defective!  But, if you have a marker that IS defective (drying out prematurely), I'll need to let demonstrator support know by June 15, 2015.  Please contact me ASAP!

Now for the LOVELY!

CASEd from Lisa Ashton at Chocolate Chip Stampers.

One of my favorite things about the Butterfly Basics stamp set is all of the versatile, non-butterfly images!  This card uses the gorgeous flower as the focal point…and the butterfly is from a different stamp set entirely!  This is one of the cards I'm doing for my private classes right now.

Background Basics—My 4" x 5-1/4" Basic Black background is embossed with the Honeycomb Texture Impressions Folder, then adhered to a Wisteria Wonder card base.  I added a 3-7/8" x 3" piece of Typeset Designer Series Paper at the bottom with a torn top edge. 

Floral Basics—I stamped the Butterfly Basics flower image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 2" x 4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  I wanted some very subtle coloring, so I added Wisteria Wonder shading to the center of the flowers and Pear Pizzazz color to the leaves & stems using a Blender Pen & ink pads.  The focal point is matted on a 2-1/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock and popped up with Dimensionals on the card front.

Elegant Butterfly—I stamped the realistic butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri set in Memento Black Ink onto Wisteria Wonder card stock, then punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.  I folded the wings up a bit and adhered the center with Glue Dots.

Sweet Sentiment—I borrowed the birthday greeting from the Peace, Love & Cupcakes stamp set and stamped it in Wisteria Wonder ink onto a 3-1/4" x 1/4" piece of Very Vanilla.  The ends are fish-tailed and the sentiment is adhered to the focal point with SNAIL.  So pretty!
