The Six-Sided Sampler Set Is So Sweet!

Hi Stamping Friends!

I'm having so much fun playing with my new stamp sets and all the fabulous new colors!  I'm especially loving all of the stamps with coordinating punches (and the 15% off savings when you bundle 'em!).

Six side - two cool

Today's two cool cards feature the fun new Six-Sided Sampler set!

Six sided sampler 130956L

The set includes 8 patterned hexagon shapes, plus 3 tiny sentiments that fit nicely inside. Mix and match!  Use one or all 8 styles to make fun honeycomb patterns!  So many possibilities!  Wouldn't it look great as a scrapbook page background?!

Six side - hello

I started with a card base of Smoky Slate, then added a 2" x 5-1/2" layer from the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper.

A Large Scallop Edgelit border in Whisper White gives the card some balance and contrasts the sharp edges of the hexagons.

TIP: The new Magnetic Platform is a MUST for Edgelits!  Those little babies have the hardest time staying in place, but the Magnetic Platform eliminates the problem completely!

And, I LOVE the new color of 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon—Pear Pizzazz!

Of course the hexagons are the star of these cards!  I stamped each pattern in a different color: Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz.

Each image was punched with the coordinating Hexagon Punch and a few of the shapes were popped up with Dimensionals. Rhinestone Jewels add a nice bling-factor.

Bundle It To Save!  Purchase both the Six-Sided Sampler stamp and Hexagon Punch together in a Six-Sided Sampler Bundle clear (wood) and save 15%!  Woohoo!

Here's my second card using the same basic elements.

This time I used the Finishing Touches Edgelits for the pinking edge and a different phrase.

"Last Thursdays" Rescheduled To Last Wednesday For June

I'm thinking that this card needs to be part of my "Last Thursdays"
, which by the way, I had to reschedule to Wednesday, June 26,
because Thursday is my dad's birthday.  Mark your calendars!
