Thoughtful Branches Merry Trees Cards

My final card from my Thoughtful Branches Bundle Class-To-Go Kit features a vintage holiday card with the beautiful pine tree image. It also gives you a sneak peek of a brand new texture that you'll see in the Holiday Catalog coming out Wednesday, September 1.

Background Basics—I cut this Cherry Cobbler card base to 4-1/4" x 11" giving it a vertical fold. Next, I added a 4" x 5-1/4" panel of the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalog. What makes this paper so special? It's a thin weight, like newsprint, with TWICE the number of sheets per pack! You get 24 sheets with traditional Cherry Cobbler & Garden Green Christmas colors, along with beautiful, classic holiday patterns! You'll be able to get LOTS of holiday projects done with this Christmas value pack!

NEW Cable Knit Dynamic Folder—Check out the embossed texture on the 4" x 1-3/4" piece of Garden Green card stock. It's created with the brand new Cable Knit Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder! It's an extra-thick folder, so thick that you only use one of the cutting pads when you run it through the Big Shot. And the impression is deep, detailed and dimensional! It's awesome!

Holiday Pine—I stamped the Thoughtful Branches bare tree image in Early Espresso onto Very Vanilla card stock, then stamped the pine needle image over the top in Garden Green. The image is die-cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits. I layered it onto a scallop oval die-cut from the same Framelits using the Red Glimmer Paper. I popped the layers with Dimensionals, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Finishing Touches—I die-cut the Christmas Greetings Thinlits sentiment from Red Glimmer Paper, then adhered it over the top of the stamped image with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Finally, I wrapped the Very Vanilla 1/2" Lace Trim around the card front and tied it into a double knot.

Two Cool—For the second card, I flipped the same This Christmas DSP over to use the reverse side's pattern. I also swapped out the Garden Green textured piece for a Cherry Cobbler one. I'm liking this red-themed card just as well!
