Thoughtful Branches Pretty Pumpkin Cards

This morning, I shared how you could create a lovely hydrangea flower with the Thoughtful Branches Bundle, but I had also seen the same coordinating image & die used to make a pretty pumpkin! How fun!

Background Basics—This card begins with a 5-1/2" x 2-1/2" piece of Crumb Cake card stock embossed with the Seaside Texture Impressions Folder. It's adhered to the bottom of a Crumb Cake card base.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the greeting from Thoughtful Branches in Early Espresso onto a 4-3/8" x 3-3/8" piece of Very Vanilla, then layered it onto a 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Early Espresso card stock. The whole layer is popped up with Dimensionals.

Pretty Pumpkin & Stem—I stamped the leafy Thoughtful Branches image in Pumpkin Pie ink onto Pumpkin Pie card stock, then used the coordinating Beautiful Branches Thinlits to die-cut it out. The design of the die makes it easy to align!

I also die-cut the "tree trunk" shape with the Beautiful Branches Thinlits from Early Espresso card stock. I turned it upside-down and cut off some of it to use it as the pumpkin stem. I adhered that stem first, then adhered the pumpkin die-cut over the top with the help of the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

Finishing Touches—I stamped the leaf image in Old Olive onto Old Olive card stock, then die-cutting that and adhering it with SNAIL. I finished the look by adding a double Linen Thread bow to the pumpkin with a Glue Dot.

Two Cool—For my second version, I embossed my background Crumb Cake panel with the Woodgrain Texture Impressions Folder instead. I also tried a different greeting from the featured set.
