The petite blooms on this Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper makes a lovely background for a sentiment and floral accent. Like the Tinted Roses cards that I shared a couple days ago, I colored the flowers to add a little custom pizzazz to the design.

Background Basics—The Timeless Elegance DSP is cut to 3-3/4" x 5" and the edges are sponged with Sahara Sand ink. I matted it onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic Black before being adhered to the Sahara Sand card base.
Floral Coloring—I wanted the flowers to be very soft in color, so I added a bit of color to them using a Blender Pen dipped in color from the lid of a Blushing Bride Classic Ink Pad. It does take a little bit of time to get all of those bitty blooms colored, but I really like the look when its complete!
Sweet Sentiment—I created a banner foundation for my sentiment with a 3-1/2" x 1-1/4" piece of Sahara Sand that was punched with the Banner Triple Punch to make the fishtail. I stamped the "hello" from the Tin of Cards stamp set in Memento Black onto Very Vanilla card stock. The word is meant to be a label on one of the tabs that go into the tin, but it does double-duty here! It's punched with the Washi Tape punch, a little off-center so that the longer end could go under the flower.
Sweet Sequins—I added a short string of Blushing Bride Sequin Trim on top of the banner background, leaving some strands of thread for an interesting texture.
Lovely Layered Blossom—My focal point was created with several layers of punches. I punched two layers from Very Vanilla with both the Pansy Punch and the Petite Petals Punch. I sponged the edges with Sahara Sand ink for a vintage look, then curved all of the petals with a Bone Folder. Because the petals were so dimensional already, I just used Glue Dots to adhere the layers and attach it to the card front, rather than add Dimensionals. I gave it a pretty finished look with the awesome Metal-Rimmed Pearls. So elegant!
Pretty & Fast—This is another card that goes together rather quickly…I think I assembled it in less than 10 minutes!
Two Cool—For my second version, I tried using the Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker to color the blooms instead of painting on the color with a Blender Pen. I wanted the color to be a little more intense to match the flower accents.
Flower Foundation—This time, I embossed a 1-1/4" x 5" piece of Sahara Sand card stock with the Elegant Dots Texture Impressions Folder and crossed it over a 3-3/4" x 1" piece of Pool Party card stock for the background accents. The sentiment is another from Tin of Cards. And, instead of a Metal-Rimmed Pearl, I added a regular Pearl Jewel on a trio of Bermuda Bay Sequins.
Complete Supplies List—"Clear mount" is a rubber stamp to be used on a clear acrylic block, "Photopolymer" is the see-thru style of stamps, also used with acrylic blocks.
