1) Falling In Love Congratulations Card

Peggy Tassler combined the intricate So Detailed die-cut with the pretty falling hearts Falling In Love Designer Series Paper for a sweet wedding-themed card. Look how those Silver Glimmer flowers coordinate with the sparkly Falling In Love Embellishments! LOVE it!

Background Basics—Peggy adhered a 3" x 4" piece of the Falling In Love DSP to a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Blushing Bride card stock. Next, she used the So Detailed Thinlits to create the Very Vanilla die-cut layer and adhered it with some Multipurpose Glue. She wrapped some retired Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon around the layer over the seem, then adhered the entire layer to a Very Vanilla card base. You could substitute the 1/4" Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon and simply wrap it around a couple of times to get the width.

Finishing Touches—The Silver Glimmer flowers are punched with the Pansy Punch, which has an outline that's very similar to the shape of the Falling In Love flower accents. These embellishments are Very Vanilla metal outlines with a cluster of rhinestone jewels for lots of shine! She attached them to the paper with Glue Dots. One of the silver flowers is popped up with Dimensionals. Peggy finished the card with a sentiment from Timeless Love, stamped in Sahara Sand onto a 5/8" x 3" strip of Very Vanilla.

2) Falling In Love Window Box Peek-Thru Card

I received this beautiful card as a swap from Kristin Kortonick. I love that peek-thru focal point and sweet details!

Focal Point Basics—Kristin started by die-cutting a 3-3/4" x 5" Very Vanilla layer with the Window Box Thinlits, using the Precision Base Plate for superior cuts. She backed the window with a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of the bokeh pattern of Falling In Love DSP.

Finishing Touches—She stamped a greeting from Sending Thoughts along the bottom in Sweet Sugarplum ink, then tied some of the Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin Ribbon around the middle before adhering to a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" layer of Very Vanilla. She didn't put any adhesive behind the die-cut window, and it allowed the layer to have a little more depth. This layer was then adhered to a Sahara Sand card base. Kristin finished off the card by adding a few pearl iridescent sequins found in the Cupcakes& Carousels Embellishment Kit. Ahhhh…lovely!
