Hi Stamping Friends!
Halloween is just two weeks away, so there is just enough time to purchase supplies for your spooky cards & treat holders! I do not typically create many Halloween projects, so I was excited to receive a few swaps from my stamping friends that featured products from the Toil & Trouble suite. I could not wait to share them with you!
Today's Halloween cards pair the cool Toil & Trouble Designer Paper with the Cauldron Framelits for a couple of quick & easy trick or treat greetings!

Bubble, Bubble, Toil & Trouble Cauldron Card
Did you know that the Cauldron Framelits coordinate perfectly with the imagery in the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper? I love that Stampin' Up! has been designing their DSP to match up with some of the framelits, so you can easily die-cut the pre-printed graphics OR the stamped images! Talk about versatile…and EASY! That means there is very little stamping on this card, so the pieces come together quickly! This project was created by Susan Campfield.
Background Basics—Susan embossed a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Granny Apple Green cardstock with the Swirls & Curls Folder. She tied a pretty knot into the Granny Apple Green Texture Weave ribbon, then secured the ends behind the textured layer with some Tear & Tape Adhesive. The whole layer is mounted onto a Gorgeous Grape card base with Tear & Tape for extra hold.
Sentiment Layer—Sue stamped the Cauldron Bubble greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the bottom of a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. It's mounted onto a 3" x 3" Basic Black mat, then popped up with Dimensionals.
Focal Points—The cauldron was die-cut from the Toil & Trouble DSP with the matching Cauldron Framelits. The die also fits the Cauldron Bubble cauldron stamp image, too. The little frog was stamped in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White and colored with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Markers. It was die-cut with the same framelits, then popped up with more Dimensionals. So fast & cute!

Trick or Treat Toil & Trouble Witch Hat Card
Here is another fun Halloween card using a die-cut from the Toil & Trouble DSP! This one was created by Amy Combs.
Background Basics—Amy started with a 3-3/4" x 5" Pumpkin Pie background embossed with the Swirls & Curls folder. It's layered onto a 4" x 5-1/4" Granny Apple Green mat then mounted onto a Gorgeous Grape card base. She used a couple strips of Toil & Trouble DSP for some background accents, too: 4" x 1" across the bottom & 7/8" x 2" at the top left.
Sweet Sentiment—Amy stamped an Itty Bitty Greetings sentiment in Pumpkin Pie ink onto a 2-5/8" Whisper White Stitched Shapes square die-cut. It's layered onto a 3" Basic Black scallop square die-cut from the Layering Squares Framelits. I love the little Granny Apple Green Texture Weave and Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped ribbon accents that she adhered to the back before popping up the layer with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—She die-cut the witch hat from the Toil & Trouble DSP, then popped it up with more Dimensionals. Amy added a couple of Glitter Enamel Dots and a black Faceted Gem that all coordinate perfectly with the Halloween colors!
