Hi Stamping Friends!

I have more event photos to share from my Convention trip today in Part 2.  Be sure to check out Convention 2013 Adventures – Part 1 from yesterday for more tidbits!

There were so many activities for us to try, we had to pick and choose which parts we got to experience.  It really made for a fun, and very customized, event for each attendee!  Check out more of the stuff we got to do!

Lynn & jodi - being the difference copy

Birthday Kits Service Project—Since the theme was "Be The Difference," we could participate in a project to make 2000 birthday kits for patients at Primary Children's Medical Center.  Lyn Turnell and Jodi Geers made a difference!

Funderful semi copy

Fun Photo Ops—The "Funderful" semi truck was parked inside the Salt Palace Convention Center for fun photo ops!  There was also a green screen photo station where you could pose in front of your choice of backgrounds.  Unfortunately, we never made it to that.  🙁

Spazmatics

Spazmatics—We enjoyed the music of a nerdy 80s cover band at the Awards Night after-party.  Plus we ate yummy desserts, played games with prizes, and even gawked at the silk aerial acrobats!

Afterparty - gang copy

Winding Down—Still smiling around 10:30pm after a LONG and exciting day!  Angie's Angels!  LOL!

Too Cool Stampers Represent—On
the last day of Convention, my team wore our Too Cool Stampers "Keep
Calm and Stamp On" T-shirts!  Jodi Geers designed these for our team and
I thought they were awesome—especially because they were purple!

Rec room

Recognition Room—Award
and Incentive achievers were invited to relax in an exclusive
Recognition Room with comfy couches, photo op backgrounds, and
complimentary soft drinks.

Awards 001  Milestone - sales copy

Annual Achievements—In
the Rec Room, there were special stamps for each of the achievements
and I used them to create a souvenoir achievement card.  I earned awards
for my 10 year anniversary, Leadership (promotions to supervisor or
above), Recruiting (downline promotions to senior associate), hitting
the 100K career sales mark, and earning the San Diego Getaway Incentive
Trip.  Woohoo!  It was a fabulous year, but I'm looking to bigger and
better for next year!

Lynn & me prize patrol copy

Prize Patrol…Finally—It didn't take us long to realize that this was the first Convention that EVERYONE was going to win a Prize Patrol.  Lyn and I kept waiting and waiting for our Melon Mambo wristbands to be called.  Finally, our color came up for a prize of Witches' Brew DSP, Halloween Hello stamp set and Black & Orange Glitter.  Woohoo!

We assumed we were the last to be called, but Shelli announced that there were some lucky people who were left.  25 people with the Crushed Curry wristband got the Prize Patrol Megaload—one of EVERY stamp set in the Holiday Catalog!  WOW!  That's more than $500 worth of stamps!

Convention swag copy

Convention Swag—We left with at least $200 worth of goodies, including a fabulously functional silver & white backpack, four all-attendee give-aways, take & makes, mini class supplies, a Paper Pumpkin Kit, and our Prize Patrols.  It filled a whole carry-on!  Woohoo for freebies!

Jodi flag copy

Flag Lady—I couldn't end my wrap-up without a shout-out to my flag-girl proxy, Jodi!  In downtown Salt Lake City, they have these handy orange flags to carry as you cross the street.  I'm known in our small circle for the extravagent way that I wave these flags, but they were NEVER on my side of the street when I crossed.  Fortunately, Jodi got the opportunity to wave the flag in my stead on her last day.  Thanks for upholding the tradition, Jodi!  I can tell you wave it well, girlfriend!

Oh, and don't forget…the HOLIDAY CATALOG items are available starting tomorrow, too!  Woot!
