Yesterday, we saw several projects shown by my Too Cool Demo Team at our June meeting. Here are some more fabulous projects…
Created by Jodi Geers. Featuring the Touch of Kindness set from the Summer Mini Catalog. I love how Jodi used the A To Z single stamp for the flower center, and that she punched out the center with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch before punching the flower out with the Circle Scallop Punch. Pop the layer up with Dimensionals and you get a cool 3D effect. The daffodil Bright Button topped with a Rhinestone Jewel is a great accent, too! She also inked up the dots on the Perfect Polka Dot Impressions Embossing Folder and the Daffodil Striped Grosgrain Ribbon really ties the whole look together. Love this design, Jodi!
Created by Carmen DeBruce. Are you ready for a sneak peek from the new catalog? Carmen is using a new Delicate Doilies stamp set along with the new Calypso Coral and Pool Party In Colors! What fun! The card also features a sentiment from A Word For You, one of the Itty Bitty Punches, and Rhinestone Jewels. Too Cool!
Created by Kari Heitmann. Hey, look at that! Kari made Two Cool cards, just like I like to do! And, she created an awesome background, too! Looks like she sponged on several colors onto Very Vanilla, then ran the card stock through the Big Shot with the Elegant Lines Impressions Folder, then sanded the embossed texture. I love, love, love it! The first card also features the Vintage Vogue stamp set. Kari said she used a flower punch and pages from an old book to punch the layers of her flowers, then added lots more sponging. Great job, Kari!
Created by Michelle Hoover. Featuring the Fabulous Florets and Happy Greetings stamp sets, Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder, Flower Garden Impressions Folder, Beyond The Garden Designer Series Paper, and Poly Stitched Ribbon. The layered and popped up flowers are my favorite on this one! What an awesome focal point! I think Michelle said that the embossed background is colored with ink and a Blender Pen. So pretty!
Created by Carmen DeBruce. She used the Flower Garden Impressions Folder twice on the card front, then one more time from a separate piece of card stock that is cut out. She colored the embossed texture with ink and a Sponge Dauber. And, I love that she sponged multicolors around the Scallop Oval Punch with the Occasional Quotes sentiment. Cool design!
Created by Michelle Hoover. Remember the Pastel Mother of Pearl card that I blogged about? Michelle and I both were inspired by the same card from Joanne French using Frost White Shimmer Mist on Glossy White Card Stock. This is Michelle's version is in purples—my favorite! Her card features En Francais, Elements of Style, and Simple Friendship (retiring) stamp sets, the Scallop Trim Border Punch, and Pearl Jewels. So very pretty, Michelle!
Created by Jodi Geers. Cute project, Jodi! I've been wanting to try one of these square cards using the Scallop Square Die. It also features the Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper (retiring!), the already retired Punch Bunch, Certainly Celery 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon (also retiring), 1-3/8" Circle Punch, and Circle Scallop Punch.
Thanks so much to my awesome Demo Team for allowing me to share their projects!
