Bordering On Romance Card & Last Day For Clearance Blitz!

We had a wonderful time at the Occasions Mini Kick-Off Party last night! Now that the new Occasions Mini is live, I can give you details on each of the cards we did!

These Two Cool cards feature the new Bordering On Romance stamp set and beautiful Twitterpated Designer Series Paper. I love how they coordinate so nicely!

Bordering On Romance Card Details

Card Base: I randomly stamped the background with the flowering twig from Bordering On Romance, inked in Island Indigo, then added a flower border inked in Indigo along bottom edge. I adhered a 5-1/2" x 2" piece of Twitterpated DSP, then laid down a line of Sticky Strip adhesive along bottom of the DSP to adhere the Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon.

Floral Medallion: I stamped the floral image, inked in StazOn Black, onto Whisper White card stock, then punched out the image with the 2-1/2" Circle Punch. I colored the image using Blender Pens and Ink Pads (or you could use markers). The circle is layered on a Petite Pennants circle scallop die-cut in Riding Hood Red card stock.

Sentiment & Dazzling Details: The dotted label image is from the new Tea Shoppe stamp set. I inked it in Riding Hood Red and stamped onto Whisper White scrap paper, then added the coordinating "Just For You" stamp from that same set in Island Indigo. I used the matching Modern Label Punch to cut it out, and added a layer of Pear Pizzazz behind one of the sentiments.

I think the dots of Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details on the flowers really make the card fun! The small dots of glue took about 30 minutes to dry. TIP: I made dots with the Riding Hood Red marker first, so the dots appeared more red, since the glue base is clear.
