All Squared Away Gate Fold Card

The lovely Floral Square dies pair beautifully with this pattern of Pattern Party Designer Series Paper. Perfect for spring!

Gate Fold Basics – Start with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Basic White Thick card base, scored at the 2-1/8" and 6-3/8" marks. Fold the ends of the card to the middle, lining them up flush before using a Bone Folder to burnish the score lines. Adhere two 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" pieces of Pattern Party DSP to 2" x 5-3/8" pieces of Flirty Flamingo cardstock, then adhere to the gate panels.

Focal Point – Stamp an All Squared Away sentiment onto the bottom of a Poppy Parade Stitched So Sweetly die-cut with VersaMark ink. Sprinkle on some white embossing powder, tap off excess, then use a Heat Tool to heat it until glossy and smooth. Then, cut three pieces of Adhesive Sheets to attach to the back of 2" x 2" piece of Basic White, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green cardstocks. Die-cut the full Floral Square with the sticky Basic White. Die-cut the flower stem with the sticky Granny Apple Green cardstock and two flowers with the sticky Flirty Flamingo cardstock. Adhere the layers onto the scalloped rectangle. Pop up the rectangle onto the left gate fold only with Dimensionals.

Gate Latch – I love the clever little closure that secures the gate on this card. Die-cut a tiny Basic White label with the smallest Stitched So Sweetly die, then add the second sticky flower on top. Attach the closure piece with a Dimensional with the gate closed so it locks it in place.

Finishing Touches – Finish the card by coloring three Rhinestone Jewels with Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends Markers and adding to the flower centers and next to the sentiment. So pretty!

All Squared Away Four Square Card

This pretty card was created by Jane Allison and it has a fun opening. I'm not sure of the name of it, but it's reminiscent of the old photo albums or scrapbooks.

Background Basics – The card begins with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Polished Pink cardstock that's scored at 4-1/4" and 5-1/2". The small panel between the score marks is secured to the inside of the card with SEAL Adhesive. Next, she adhered a 3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper to a 1" x 4" piece of Basic white, then mounted it on the "spine" of the card.

Focal Point – Cut four 1-7/8" x 1-7/8" piece of Basic White. Stamp one with the All Squared Away greeting in Polished Pink. For the other three, stamp one of the square background images in Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Granny Apple Green. Next, die-cut three of the Floral Square images from Basic White cardstock and adhere over the top of the stamped squares. Mount onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

Finishing Touches – Die-cut a few tiny Polished Pink flowers with the Floral Square Dies and adhere with Glue Dots around the greeting. Top the flowers with Basic Pearl Jewels.
