Hi Stamping Friends!

My Too Cool Team brought some fabulous cards to our shoebox swap event this week—they do every time!  Two of the cards we created were made with the gorgeous Detailed Floral Thinlits and that's what I'm sharing with you today.

But first, a couple of reminders…

►►"Last Thursdays" Monthly Card Class Rescheduled—I've had to move my monthly card class up a week this month due to an out-of-town wedding.  Please join me on the third Thursday of the month, July 21, at 6:30.  We'll be making 4 cards for just $10, or the class is FREE with a purchase that night.  Card project details coming soon!

Flourishing details - marsha

1) Marsha's Detailed Floral Half-Front Card

Marsha Henry brought this beautiful card for us to create at our event, and it was SO EASY!

Half-Fold Card Base—The card starts with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock that is scored down the middle at the 4-1/2" mark.  Before folding, run the card base through the Big Shot using the larger Detailed Floral Thinlit die along the bottom of the card front.

TIP: You'll definitely want to use the new Big Shot Platform and Precision Base Plate with this intricate die for best results.  It really helps to have the Big Shot Die Brush, too.  After die-cutting, run the brush over the die to help pop out all those pieces and release the die-cut from the die.  A Paper Piercer will help you get out any remaining little pieces.

Sweet Accent—There's a single large Pearl Jewel on one of the flowers in the die-cut.

Inside The Card—The inside of the card has a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock that has been rounded with the Project Life Corner Rounder Punch on the top corners.  The card base corners are rounded, too. The sentiment is from Rose Wonder and it's stamped in Sweet Sugarplum ink.

Wow!  How easy was that for a stunning card that is perfect for a wedding, anniversary, or other special occasion!

Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.

2) Darla's Detailed Floral Amazing Banner Card

Darla Eigenschink paired the Detailed Floral die-cuts with a lovely banner sentiment from the Banners For You stamp set for another lovely card!

Background Basics—This card starts by die-cutting the side of a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Night of Navy card stock with the Detailed Floral Thinlits, then adhering it to a Whisper White card base.  I used SNAIL to adhere the solid side of that layer, and the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the detailed side.

The background also has a 1" x 4" strip of Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper, which costs perfectly!

Sweet Sentiment—The fun flying banner image from the Banners For You was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  The curved Night of Navy greeting is also from Banners For You and the element was die-cut with the Bunch of Banners Framelits and popped up with Dimensionals.  Another pretty & easy card!

Bundle It & SAVE!—Purchase the Banners For You stamp set and Bunch of Banners Framelits together in a bundle to save 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately.

Finishing Touches—Rhinestone Jewels were added to several of the flowers on the die-cut…so pretty!
