Hi Stamping Friends!

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of CASEing (Copy And Share Everything).  If I see a card I love, I can't wait to duplicate it myself!  It's a great way to get those creative juices flowing!

Way back in September, our Demo Team had a fall-themed shoebox swap and I thought it was awesome that Peggy Tassler and Janet Shinn had both CASEd a lovely autumn card created by Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty.  It's interesting to see how they each changed the original project up and made it a little different.

Here's a glimpse at Mary's card:

OK, now let's see Peggy's & Janet's take.  This was a shoebox swap, so they designed the cards and the cards were stamped and assembled by me.

Peggy - grateful fall fest copy

Peggy's card started with a Soft Suede card base and instead of the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper, we used the Fall Fest leaves to stamp our own patterned paper in Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss and Soft Suede.  The Woodgrain Embossing Folder was used for some texture on the bottom half of the card and it's trimmed with a Finishing Touches Edgelit border in Soft Suede.

The banner layers are made with Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist card stocks.  Peggy only had the top banner fish-tailed, but I fish-tailed the second layer.  I liked Peggy's without the second fish-tail better.

For the focal point, we punched a tag with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and rounded the corners with the Project Life Corner Rounder.  The sentiment is a combination of words from the Apothecary Art (wood) and the Work of Art (wood) stamp sets.  The tag is tied with a strand from the Burlap Ribbon.

Janet - give thanks color me autumn copy

Janet made her card a 6×6" design using the same Very Vanilla card base and Blackberry Bliss layers. She even gave us Designer Paper to create a matching envelope with the Envelope Punch Board, since it was a non-traditional size card.

The top half of the background is the Color Me Autumn DSP and the bottom is Mossy Meadow card stock, trimmed with a Gold Foil border punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

Janet used a piece of the Color Me Autumn paper for the top of her banner layers.

Her label is cut with a die from the Chalk Talk Framelits.  We stamped it with the leaves and greeting from For All Things (wood).  It's topped with a Gold Basic Metal Button and a Linen Thread bow.

Thank you to Peggy & Janet for sharing their fabulous versions of this pretty card design!

You may remember that I did my own take on Mary's card and it was one of my For All Things Stamp-of-the-Month projects!  Mine features my favorite elements from both Peggy's and Janet's cards!
