Today, I'm sharing the two cool card ideas using the Christmas Collectibles stamp & punch bundle!  I created both of these projects during our last Too Cool Demo Team shoebox swaps!  I'm so looking forward to another shoebox swap with my Team next week!  They always have awesome ideas to share!

CASEd from Brenda Keenan at Keenan's Kreations.

Background Basics—Carmen DeBruce shared this quick & cute Christmas Collectibles card at our team swap.  The 5-1/4" x 2" piece of Season of Style Designer Series Paper was layered onto the 5-1/4" x 4" Whisper White, then wrapped with Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.

Ornaments—The ornaments are stamped in Crumb Cake and Old Olive, then punched with the coordinating Christmas Ornament Punch.

Add some Linen Thread to the back of the ornaments with and wrap those around the top before adhering the whole thing onto the Old Olive card base.

Greeting & Bow—I love the sweet sentiment from Sweet Essentials, stamped in Cherry
Cobbler.  I had forgotten that set contained a holiday greeting. I also think it's cute to use the Rhinestone Jewel to dot the "i"!

The bow was created separately and adhered on top with a Glue Dot.

Background Basics—The second idea comes courtesy of Darla Eigenschink.  Her swap card also started with a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White that we sponged in Crumb Cake ink, then added a couple lines of Season of Style Washi Tape at the bottom.

Merry Thinlits—The Expressions Thinlit die-cut "merry" gives a great pop of Garden Green!  Don't forget the Thinlit TIPS a talked about the other day:

      • Run Expressions Thinlits and card stock through the Big Shot back & forth at least 4 times to get a nice clean cut.
      • Depending on the pressure of your Big Shot machine, you may need to add a shim.
      • Use a Paper Piercer to poke through the thinlit holes to carefully remove your die-cut.
      • A sheet of wax paper between the thinlit and card stock can help it pop out easier.

Marbled Ornament—This is fun technique!  We created a faux marbled look on our ornaments!  First, we inked the outer part of the ornament with a Cherry Cobbler marker and stamped off once onto scrap paper.  Next, we drew random lines over the outer part of the ornament with the brush tip of the Cherry Cobbler marker.  Finally, we colored the middle with Garden Green, stamped the image onto Whisper White and punched it with the Christmas Ornament Punch.  That marbled look is Too Cool!

Burlap Hanger—We pulled some crinkly thread from the Burlap Ribbon to use for our ornament hanger, then popped the ornament with Dimensionals.  The burlap thread bow is adhered with Multipurpose Glue.  I love that thread so much more than plain ole Linen Thread!
