Hi Stamping Friends!

I love seeing all of the show & tell projects that my Too Cool team brings to our monthly meeting!  One of our challenges was to create a Christmas In July card, so today I'm sharing two of my favorites!

Created by Janet Shinn.  Color Combo: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive & Whisper White. 

Work of Art Christmas Tree

Janet Shinn used the swoosh element from the Work of Art stamp set (clear, wood) to build a pretty holiday tree in Old Olive.  The cute Festival of Trees (photopolymer) cardinal is stamped in Cherry Cobbler and hand-cut to perch on the tree.  I love that there is already a pack of holiday-themed Merry Moments Designer Series Paper in the catalog! Janet used that DSP for the strip of red in the background.

Sponged Every Blessing Card

Peggy Tassler tried out the brand new Every Blessing stamp set (clear, wood) for her Christmas in July card.  I love that the Annual Catalog has some new holiday stamps prior to the Holiday Catalog, so those inclined can get a jump on their Christmas cards! 

Peggy used the very non-Christmas Bohemian Designer Series Paper to set the color scheme.  The silhouette image is stamped in Memento Black Ink and sponged lightly with Island Indigo to represent night.  The star is highlighted with Daffodil Delight and topped with a Rhinestone Jewel.
