Hi Stamping Friends!
It's been a whirlwind of excitement this week with all the new products being released and all of the Convention stuff I've been trying to organize to share with you.
I've also been working on a new stamp-a-stack style Countdown To Christmas Class Series to help you get your holiday cards done on time, a little at a time—with no stress!.
Mark Your Calendars—My 4-part Countdown To Christmas Class Series will be held on the first Saturday of the month beginning in September: September 7, October 5, November 2 and December 7. Each class will be available individually, but if you take the whole series, you'll have created 48 amazing Christmas cards AND you'll get a special take & make class featuring stocking stuffers!
I'll have more information coming soon!

I have two of my awesome Convention Roommate Gift swaps to share with you today!
Darla Eigenschink.created an altered Clear Mount Stamp Case that holds a handy notepad for taking notes during Convention. She decorated the outside with Pool Party Core'dinations card stock and the lovely Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Strawberry Slush scallop was die-cut with the Large Scallop Edgelit.
The Strawberry Slush Labels Collection Framelit die-cut is personalized for our 25th Anniversary Convention using the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies with Island Indigo card stock and Silver Glimmer Paper.
Inside the case, Darla added a mini-legal size notepad with about 1" cut off the bottom. Your local office supply or copy & print store can do this for a small fee.
I absolutely love this notepad, not only because I take lots of notes, but because it truly is a very functional for on-the-go notetaking! It's the perfect size to tuck away easily inside a backpack, tote or purse. The case protects the notepad from damage, and there's even room to fit a pen inside!
Of course, I didn't want to mess mine up by actually writing in it…I'm weird that way! LOL!
Thanks so much for your awesomely handy gift, Darla!
Everyone at Convention got the same backpack, so to help us distinguish ours from the rest, Lyn Turnell created personalized bag tags for the roommates!
It's actually a set of three tags, decorated with Gingham Garden DSP, on a key ring. The top one featured our name along with a paper bow, Simply Pressed Clay flower, and a vellum Bitty Butterfly (that came off because I actually used her gift. See what happens!)
The flip side had a soda pop top with the "be the difference" Convention logo inside, plus Boho Blossoms, Lace Tape and Pearl Jewel accents.
The second tag had a pretty sundress made with the Dress Up Framelits. It's decorated with Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and Pearl Jewels (missing some of those, too…)
On the back was space for us to put our name and "A Dress" in case we lost track of the bag. So cute!
The last tag was another pretty one, decorated with a Best of Butterflies medallion with plain DSP on the reverse.
Thanks, Lyn! Great project! It really came in handy at the event!
