#1 Red Foil Delicate Ornaments Card
Carmen DeBruce created this simply elegant card using the Embellished Ornaments Bundle and the shiny Red Foil Paper for our challenge. I'm not sure if it was the foil or the dies (or both) that she hadn't yet used, but the results are lovely and even more lovely in person!
Background Basics—She started by die-cutting a solid Delicate Ornaments shaped window from a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Whisper White. That layer is eventually matted onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Red Foil and mounted onto a Whisper White card base.
Sweet Sentiment—The Embellished Ornaments greeting was stamped in VersaMark, then heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.
Ornament Details—Carmen die-cut the intricate ornament with the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits from Whisper White and adhered it inside the ornament window with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. She finished off the ornament with a Silver Foil die-cut hanger and a 1/8" Silver Ribbon bow, both attached with Glue Dots.
Red Foil Ornament Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.

#2 Fancy Open Delicate Ornaments Cards
Jan Kline also created her swap with the intricate ornaments from the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits and she decorated the front with the the pretty Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum, which was her "never-been-used" item.
Background Basics—Jan started her card with a 6-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Mossy Meadow card stock, scored at 2" to make the front cover panel. She adhered a 1-7/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Winter Wonderland Designer Series Vellum onto the front with SNAIL.
Focal Point—Jan's focal point started with a 2-1/4" square of Mossy Meadow that was layered with a 2-1/8" square of Whisper White. Next she added a 1-7/8" Mossy Meadow circle cut with the Circles Collection Framelits as a contrasting backdrop to her Whisper White Delicate Ornament die-cut. The left half of the square was adhered to the front panel.
Finishing Touches—Jan added a Mossy Meadow die-cut hanger that is tied with 1/8" Gold Ribbon to match the pretty gold accents in the Winter Wonderland Vellum.
Inside Details—The focal point hides a gold embossed greeting on the inside of the card. The 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White layer was also punched on the corners with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch. What a fun card design!
