I designed my Everything Is Rosy Class cards to give you a nice creative sampling of all of the products in the product medley. This wasn't an easy task because THERE ARE SO MANY ITEMS in this mega-bundle! With all the gorgeous Designer Series Papers and pre-printed die-cuts, you can create beautiful cards without even using the floral stamps! So, it's perfect for simple cards! My class range from cards that just add a sentiment, to ones like this one with a little stamping and several layers.
Background Basics—I started with a 4-1/4" x 10" base in Melon Mambo, scored at the 4-1/2" mark and folded for a shortened card front on a vertically-folded card. I added a 4-1/4" x 1-1/2" strip of the "paint stroke" pattern of Everything Is Rosy DSP across the bottom of the inside card.
Sweet Stamped Layer—I stamped the Everything Is Rosy sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto a 3-1/8" x 3-3/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock. I positioned it in the upper right corner. Then, I stamped the two leafy branches in Night of Navy ink as the base of a bouquet in the lower left corner. The smaller, rounded leaves branches are stamped-off for a slightly lighter color variation.
I layered the stamped piece onto a 3-1/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Night of Navy, mounted it onto a 3-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Rose Gold Foil, then attached it to the card front, all with SNAIL Adhesive.
Floral Finish—I die-cut some Rose Gold Foil foliage with the Everything Is Rosy dies. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need a Precision Base Plate for this intricate die! These NEW Stampin' Up! dies run so smoothly with just a regular Big Shot platform and standard plates! I attached these foil embellishments with Glue Dots. I finished by popping up a full-color, pre-printed die-cut from the kit! How easy & fun!
Inside The Card—I added a 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Whisper White on the inside, stamped with a few more leafy branches. This card is one of my favorites from the class!
Stamped Shimmer—OH. MY. GOODNESS! Stamping with these detailed DisINKtive Stamps in Shimmer Paint is incredible! I used a Sponge Dauber to lightly cover this Everything Is Rosy leaves stamp and stamped directly onto the Melon Mambo card front. I stamped three images above and one below where the focal point was to be positioned.
TIP #1: Before opening the bottom, I gently shook the paint to get some paint on the inside of the cap. The Sponge Dauber fits perfectly inside the cap to get just a bit of paint. No need to use a separate palette!
TIP #2: When you're done stamping with the shimmer paint, wash the stamp clean under tap water. It is an acrylic paint, so it will be much more difficult to get off the stamp once it's dried.
Background Basics—I layered a 4-1/4" x 2-1/2" piece of the Everything Is Rosy pretty pink pattern onto a 4-1/4" x 2-5/8" piece of Night of Navy cardstock. I tied some of the elegant Night of Navy Rose Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the layers, then mounted the layers onto the card front using Tear & Tape Adhesive for a secure hold.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped an Everything Is Rosy sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto one of the pre-printed Rose Gold labels and popped it up with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a shiny Rose Gold foil pre-printed accents with another Dimensional.
