I received this fun and pretty Fitting Florets swap card from Dena Rekow.
Background Basics—This card begins with a 7" x 5-1/2" piece of Night of Navy cardstock that's scored at 2-3/4". The front panel was decorated with a 2-5/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper.
Fun Flap—To make the fun flap, Dena cut a 3-1/2" x 3" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock, scoring it at the 1/2" mark on the long side. She adhered that 1/2" flap under the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White mounted on the inside of the card. She decorated the right side of inside with a 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock embossed with the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder. Lovely!
Flap Focal Point—Dena stamped the Framed Florets sentiment in Night of Navy ink on the top of a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Basic White. She stamped the floral image underneath in Night of Navy, too, then colored it in with Stampin' Blends Markers. She used Polished Pink and Daffodil Delight for the flowers, Balmy Blue and Night of Navy for the leaves.
Finishing Touches—She finished with some Wink of Stella glimmer brushed on the flowers and some Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon tied around the flap! I love it!
I received this lovely accordion fold card from Cathy Miller.
Background Basics—This 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Night of Navy card base is scored at the 2-1/8" and 4-1/4" marks and folded into a "Z" shape. The two smaller panels are decorated with 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" coordinating pieces of Fitting Florets DSP.
Inside The Card—Cathy stamped a Framed Florets sentiment in Night of Navy and floral image in Balmy Blue onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Balmy Blue cardstock for the inside.
Front Panel—Cathy created a foundation for the focal point with a 3-1/8" x 4" piece of Balmy Blue, embossed with the Splatter Embossing Folder and layered onto a 3-1/4" x 4-1/8" piece of Night of Navy. It's attached to the first front panel with Dimensionals.
Sentiment Oval—Cathy stamped the Framed Florets sentiment in Night of Navy onto a Basic White Framed Florets oval die-cut label. She mounted that onto the front, along with an Night of Navy Framed Florets striped frame die-cut.
Finishing Touches—Cathy stamped three Framed Florets flowers in Night of Navy ink onto Soft Succulent cardstock, die-cut them and popped them up onto the oval. She finished by adding an Iridescent Rhinestone to the flower centers.
