Hi Stamping Friends!
It’s the day after my niece’s wedding, so wedding cards are on my mind! It reminded me of a wedding card that Peggy Tassler shared at our last team meeting. She took the 2-for-1 Flourish Thinlit idea that I shared weeks ago and ran with it!
But first, in case you missed it yesterday…

Marriage Is A Journey Flourish Thinlits Card #1
I love the elegance and sophistication of Peggy’s wedding card! She says that she loves putting Whisper White & Very Vanilla together for wedding cards, and I’d have to agree…it makes the card stunning!
Background Basics & Sentiment—Peggy started by die-cutting a window with the Layering Circles Framelits on the top of a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Very Vanilla card stock. She positioned that layer over a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock, then stamped the Flourishing Phrases greeting in Soft Suede ink right through the circle window for perfect positioning.
The window layer was then popped up with lots of Dimensionals over the greeting layer and mounted on a Whisper White card base. It looks like there are more layers in the photo, but that’s because there is an envelope under the card.
Flourishing Details—Peggy die-cut the beautiful Whisper White floral embellishment with the help of the Flourish Thinlits and adhered it to the card front with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. She was thinking ahead and die cut the flourish from the center of a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White that she could use as a layer on another card (see card #2 below)!
TIP: I highly recommend using the Precision Base Plate, new Big Shot Platform & Die Brush for getting the most clean cuts and releasing all the little bits from the die and die-cut.
Finishing Touches—Peggy added sweet Pearl Jewels to the Flourish accent for a truly stylish look with just a few steps!
Complete Supplies List—”Clear” means a rubber stamp on a clear block. “Photopolymer” is see-thru.

I’m Here For You Flourish Thinlits Card #2
Peggy took the reverse Flourish Thinlit die-cut from Card #1 above and used it to create the focal point for this card! Too Cool!
Background Basics—She layered the reverse die-cut layer onto a 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ piece of Dapper Denim card stock and popped it up with LOTS of Dimensionals. Both layers are mounted on a Soft Sky card base.
Flourishing Details—Peggy added Pearl Jewels “berries” to the recessed flourish. I love that look!
Sweet Sentiment—Peggy stamped the Banners For You banner outline in Dapper Denim ink and die-cut it with the coordinating Bunche of Banners Framelits. Next, she stamped the Weather Together greeting in Soft Sky ink onto the banner. She curved the photopolymer stamp when she mounted it on the acrylic block to get that curved look. The banner is popped up with more Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—A couple Dapper Denim Enamel Shapes give a little more shine to the upper left corner.
