Dawn’s Go Nuts, It’s Your Birthday Card
The Fluffy Squirrel Bundle is absolutely adorable for fall cards! I’m finding it to be one of the hottest sellers from the Mini Catalog, so far! I received this swap card from Dawn Olchefske…one of my all-time favorite fellow demonstrators!
Background Basics
Dawn adhered two strips of the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper at the bottom of a Crumb Cake card base to set the palette on this fall card. The DSP measures 5-1/2″ x 1″ for the plaid pattern and 5-1/2″ x 3/4″ for the Cajun Craze pattern.
Next, she stamped a Fluffy Squirrel sentiment in Early Espresso ink above the DSP on the right-hand side.

Sweet Squirrel Tag
Dawn started by cutting a 2″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock and stamping the bottom with the Fluffy Squirrel tree stump image in Early Espresso at the bottom. She punched a tag hole with one of the three mini punches from the Hole Punch Assortment, then tied some Early Espresso Linen Thread through the hole. She adhered it with SEAL to the card front.
Then, she stamped the two-step Fluffy Squirrel image in Early Espresso for the outline, then with Cajun Craze for the fill-in color. She used the coordinating Fluffy Squirrel Builder Punch to punch out the image. It’s popped up onto the tag with some Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
The part of this card that I love most is that cute little acorn! Dawn used the Fluffy Squirrel Builder Punch to punch out a Crumb Cake acorn. For the cap, she stamped the Fluffy Squirrel acorn pattern in Early Espresso onto Early Espresso cardstock, punched it with the Fluffy Squirrel punch, trimmed out the cap and attached it to the acorn. Dawn tucked it under the squirrel so it looks like he’s holding it. Such a sweet card, Dawn!

Selene’s Go Nuts, It’s Your Birthday Card
Here’s another take on the Fluffy Squirrel Go Nuts card, this time created by Selene Kempton. This one uses the second squirrel image from the set.
Background Basics
Selene started by embossing a 5-1/2″ x 4″ piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder and adhering it to a Crumb Cake card base. She added a 5-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ piece of Gathering Together DSP across the front with SEAL Adhesive.
Focal Point Panel
Selene stamped the Fluffy Squirrel sentiment and squirrel outline image, as well as a couple of acorns, in Early Espresso ink onto a 4″ x 3″ piece of Basic White cardstock. She added a Cajun Craze fill image to the squirrel and acorn caps. She also used the Ivory Stampin’ Blends Marker to add the ground color, giving that cute squirrel a foundation.
Finishing Touches
Selene finished by stamping the gift box in Early Espresso, coloring the ribbon with Cajun Craze Stampin’ Write Marker and adding some polka dots with an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. She hand-cut the present and popped it up with a Dimensional. She finished by adding some glittering Wink of Stella onto the gift’s dots and the acorn caps. Love the details, Selene!

Both cards are very cute. Thanks for the details. The squirrels here are more gray colored or a gray/brown mix. So, I am going to have to play with some colors.
