#1) I'm Lost Without You Going Global Card
As a demonstrator, I receive a quarterly magazine from Stampin' Up! called Stampin' Success. One of our recent issues feature this card and I loved it! It's not a style that I would have created on my own, but sometimes it's so nice to just enjoy recreating someone else's design, so I CASEd it!
Background Basics—I really liked the background on this card! It's a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the Going Places Designer Series Paper adhered to a Very Vanilla card base. Then, I adhered a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Vellum card stock over the top to soften the marbled pattern, while still letting it peek out from the edges. What a fun look!
TIP: The Vellum is adhered with SNAIL under where the focal point will eventually lay, and the rest of the piece floats free so you can't see the adhesive through the translucent vellum.
Globe Embossing—The globe image from Going Global was stamped in VersaMark ink onto Whisper White card stock, then heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. Using my favorite emboss resist technique, I sponged on Lost Lagoon ink over the embossing to bring out the white-on-white image. It's punched with the 2" Circle Punch, then popped up over a 4" x 1-1/2" piece of Delightful Dijon piece that has the ends fishtailed.
Sweet Sentiment—I adhered the wooden "thanks" from Expressions Natural Elements with Glue Dots over the top of the globe. Then, I stamped the Going Global greeting in Memento Black Ink on a 2-1/2" x 1/4" strip of Very Vanilla. I snipped the ends at a slant and attached the sentiment with SNAIL on one end and a Dimensional on the other.
Finishing Touches—The floating circles are punched from another pattern of Going Places DSP. I used the 1/2" Circle Punch for the larger circle, and the Owl Builder Punch for the two smaller circles. The punches are popped up with Dimensionals and adorned with Rhinestone Jewels.

#2) You Mean The World To Me Going Global Card
I received this quick & cool card from a swap earlier this year, created by Dania Welch. I love the folded-back design for this card—it's so easy to make!
Background Basics—This background starts with a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Going Places DSP. To create the folded-back layer, simply mark the 2-3/4" point along the side, then cut a 1-1/2" long slit with the Stampin' Trimmer. Adhere the paper to a Sahara Sand card base, then fold back the two flaps and secure them to the card from with Dimensionals. Easy!
Globe Focal Point—The Going Global world image is stamped in Mossy Meadow onto Very Vanilla, then punched out with the 2" Circle Punch and popped up with Dimensionals.
Black Pearl Accents—Dania trimmed the corners of the folds with Pearl Jewels that she pre-colored with a black Sharpie Marker.
Sweet Sentiment—The Going Global greeting is stamped inside the fold with Memento Black ink.
I love the masculine look of this entire Going Global suite of products! Not only is it perfect for Father's Day, but the sentiments work well for a variety of occasions, like birthdays, anniversaries or thank yous!
