In The Pines Class Cards

Today I'm sharing one of my In The Pines card designs that I feature in both my 5-card LIVE Class Kit and my 12-Card Countdown To Christmas Class Kit. I love this pretty layout and included the more elegant version in the 5-card kit and the soft & more colorful versions in my 12-Card kit. Let's check out the LIVE Class card first with all the details for assembly!

Background Basics—I started by embossing a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Sahara Sand cardstock with the beautiful new Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder and layered it onto a 5-1/8" x 3-7/8" Very Vanilla piece. It's all mounted onto a Sahara Sand card base.

Pretty Pine—I stamped the In The Pines large pine outline image in Crumb Cake ink onto a Very Vanilla Stitched Shapes oval die-cut. I filled in the pine with the coordinating two-step stamp inked in Mint Macaron ink. Before popping up the oval with Dimensionals, I adhered a strip of the new Embroidered Ribbon across the card front.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the In The Pines greeting in Crumb Cake ink onto a Mint Macaron All Dressed Up die-cut. It's popped up, too. I finished by adding a gold-flecked Wonderful Gem by the tree.

Countdown To Christmas Card #1—I created four additional versions of this layout to feature in my In The Pines Countdown To Christmas Class. I made these a little more colorful, but kept the colors very soft with subtle shades of green.

This version has a Sahara Sand embossed background with a 5" x 1-1/4" piece of Soft Sea Foam layer across the bottom. I adhered some Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim around the background before mounting it onto a Just Jade card base.

Tree Trimmings—This tree is also stamped in Crumb Cake, but the fill is stamped-off Pear Pizzazz ink. The sentiment is identical to the original card. I finished up the card with Pearl Jewels.

Countdown To Christmas Card #2—Same elements, positioned just a bit differently. The only changes are a Mint Macaron card base and I used the other In The Pines sentiment.

Countdown To Christmas Card #3—I love experimenting with mixing & matching different colors and elements of different versions of my cards. My Countdown To Christmas cards allow you to play with these colors and elements, too! This version has a Just Jade card base, a Soft Sea Foam embossed background and a Sahara Sand strip across the bottom. The pine is stamped in Crumb Cake with a Mint Macaron fill.

Countdown To Christmas Card #4—The final card has a Mint Macaron base, Soft Sea Foam background and Sahara Sand strip. Make all of these soft green versions with the 12-Card Countdown To Christmas Class Kit.
