Kite Delight Another Year Flies By Card
I always love a cool recessed window card and I love the way the rainbow colors are recessed under the cloud panels on this card.
Background Basics—Select the rainbow striped pattern of the Abstract Beauty Designer Series Paper pack. Trim 1/4" off the top and bottom of the card, so it measures 4" x 5-1/2". Adhere to a Basic White Thick card base. Next, die cut a cloud border down the left side of a 3" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock. Stamp the kite tail in Night of Navy onto the larger cloud panel. Pop up the two panels over the rainbow with Dimensionals.
Cute Kite—Stamp the Kite Delight image in Night of Navy onto a pink Abstract Beauty DSP pattern, trim with Paper Snips and mount with Dimensionals above the tail. Add Adhesive-Backed Hexagons to the bows on the kite tail.
Sweet Sentiment—Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy onto a 2-1/2" x 3/4" piece of blue patterned Abstract Beauty DSP. Fish-tail cut one side, then adhere across the recessed area on the bottom of the card.

Kite Delight Uplifting Friendship Card
Do you ever use a focal point image to create a cool background? This card uses one of the Kite Delight kites to make a colorful patterned backdrop.
Background Basics—Stamp the Kite Delight image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White. Stamp one image, then turn the sheet 180° and you can stamp the images really close together in a line. The kites were then colored in with the retiring 2020-2022 In Color Stampin' Write Markers. The piece was matted onto a 4" x 4" piece of Basic Black.
Focal Point—Stamp the kite tails in Memento Black onto the bottom of a Bumblebee card base. Adhere the kite patterned background to the top of the card base. Next, stamp the floral kite in Memento Black onto Basic White cardstock and color with In Color markers. Cut out the kite with super-sharp Paper Snips and pop up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Stamp the Kite Delight sentiment in Memento Black onto a 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" piece of Bumblebee cardstock. Mount onto a 2" x 1-1/2" piece of Polished Pink cardstock. Add a 4" piece of White Frayed Ribbon to the back, then pop up with Dimensionals.
