Quick & Cute Gift Card Holders
CASEd from Michelle Suit.
Gift Card Holder Basics—This card begins with an 10 x 4-1/4" piece of Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at the 1-3/4" and 4-1/2" marks on the 10" side.
I punched a little notch out of the end of the card with a 2" Circle Punch, then folded the pocket toward the inside of the card and adhered the sides with Tear & Tape Adhesive. Easy peasy!
Santa & His List—I stamped the Signs of Santa image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White, careful to position it as far to the right as possible, so it will peek out when the card is closed. It's colored with Stampin' Blends Markers in Poppy Parade dark, Ivory, Daffodil Delight dark, Crumb Cake light and some Smoky Slate light for Santa's shadow. I stamped the Signs of Santa sentiment above in Memento ink. I finished with a little Wink of Stella clear shimmer on his hat and buckle. The layer was adhered to the inside of the card with SNAIL.
Card Front—I embossed a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Whisper White with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder, then mounted it on the front card flap with some Tear & Tape. Next, I stamped the North Pole sign image in Memento Black onto Whisper White scrap, then colored it with Poppy Parade and Smoky Slate Blends. I stamped the North Pole words in Garden Green onto the sign. It's die-cut with the coordinating Santa's Signpost Framelits, then popped up with Dimensionals. I finished by stamping the seal image in Garden Green onto Whisper White, then die-cutting that and popping it up, too. So, so cute!
Two Cool—I tried a second version with a snowman theme. The card base is Coastal Cabana and the front flap is embossed with the Swirls & Curls Folder.
Snowman—I stamped the Spirited Snowman image in Memento Black onto Whisper White, then die-cut with the largest Layering Circles Framelits circle. I colored him with Stampin' Blends in Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Bronze and Smoky Slate. I added some Wink of Stella over the entire snowman, of course! The circle is adhered to a Bermuda Bay scallop circle cut with the same dies, the popped up onto the card front, so that the right side overlaps the inside of the card.
The inside of the card has some Pool Party snowflakes and a Memento Black sentiment, both from the Spirited Snowman set. Love this one!
Finishing Touches—I added a couple of Pool Party snowflake accents, created with the Blizzard Thinlits. They are attached with Glue Dots and topped with some Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
