Hi Stamping Friends!

Well, you know how they say great minds think alike, right?  Well, that was certainly the case when it came to two cool roommate swaps I received at Convention! 

My Too Cool Team members Carmen DeBruce and Jodi Geers ended up creating the same project for our roomie swap—a fabulous & functional Sticky Note Purse!   They both CASEd the purse idea from Laura Haffke at It's A La Dee Dah Day. 

Carmen's purse was made with Strawberry Slush card stock and the Quatrrefancy Specialty Designer Series Papers!  Isn't it cute?  The front has a slot, made with the Word Window Punch, so it can dispense Pop-Up Post-It Notes (you know, the accordion-fold ones!).  What a fun little gift! 

When you open the purse, it has two little pockets: one for the dispenser side and one as a storage pocket for a back-up pad!  Carmen added magnets to keep the purse closed. 

Jodi's purse was made with Elegant Eggplant card stock and Modern Medley DSP. 

The purse was decorated purse with Flower Shop (wood) stamp images, punched with the Pansy Punch and topped with Rhinestone Jewels.

She layered one flower on a Black Blossom Punch, and added a Tea Lace Paper Doily accent, too! 

The purse handle is Crochet Trim, secured at the ends with Black Candy Dots on Candy Dot Brad Bases.  I love all the details!

Jodi used a "Velcro" hook & loop closure on her project.
