Hi Stamping Friends!
For those of you who follow my LIVE Classes on Facebook, the time has changed for this week's class to Friday, April 16, at 9am ET. I'll be featuring the lovely Sand & Sea Suite featuring the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle! This is an amazing suite and you're not going to want to miss it!
Until then, you can still order and earn the LIVE Class Kit that I'll be showcasing. Simply place a minimum $35 order using host code FJKVCQAC. This code will be good through April 21.
Today, I'm sharing a couple of swap cards that I received that highlight a couple of cool techniques that you can do with the awesome Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.

Sponged Seashells Birthday Card
The Seashells 3D Embossing Folder is so pretty and unique! It's a lovely scene of a seabed that can work equally well as a textured background or focal point. On this card, created by Michelle Suit, the details of the texture are brought out with some simple sponging for a soft and sweet look!
Background Basics—Michelle's card begins with a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock as the base. She added 1" x 4" strips of Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper to each side of the base with SEAL adhesive. Next, she cut a 3-1/4" x 8-1/2" piece of Blushing Bride cardstock, scored it at the 4-1/4" mark and mounted it in the center of the card base.
Sweet Sponged Seashells—Michelle embossed a 3" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock with the Seashells Embossing Folder, then used Sponge Daubers to very lightly add color to each of the elements. She added some Blushing Bride and So Saffron to the shells and Soft Sea Foam to the plants. She also brushed on clear Wink of Stella glimmer for a shimmering finish! It's adhered to the card front with SEAL. So pretty!
Sweet Sentiment—Michelle stamped a Friends Are Like Seashells sentiment in Blushing Bride ink onto a 3" x 3/4" strip of Basic White cardstock. It's layered onto a 3" x 7/8" strip of Crumb Cake. It's popped up with Dimsensionals. She finished with a couple of pink Pastel Pearls on either side of the greeting.
Sweet Details—Don't forget to add some details to the inside of the card. Michelle stamped some additional Friends Are Like Seashells images on the inside with Crumb Cake ink.
Swap card created by Rumi Radomski.
Inked Seashells Collecting Friends Card
Rumi Radomski used a different embossing folder technique to add depth and detail to the background on her swap card.
Background Basics—Rumi added some Highland Heather ink directly to one side of the Seashells Embossing Folder. Be sure that it's the de-bossed side. Then she added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Purple Posy cardstock to the folder and ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. The result is that the ink is transferred to the de-bossed background of the textured piece, allowing the embossed shells and plants to really pop! It's mounted onto a Purple Posy card base.
Focal Point—Rumi stamped the large Friends Are Like Seashells shell image in Gorgeous Grape at the bottom of a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Basic White. She stamped the shell filler image in stamped off Highland Heather ink over the shell, then again underneath the shell. She added some dotted images, too, also with stamped-off Highland Heather ink. She finished by adding a Friends Are Like Seashells greeting to the top in Gorgeous Grape ink. It's layered onto a 2-5/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Highland Heather cardstock and popped up with Dimensionals. She finished with a couple of Opal Rounds embellishments. Delightful!
