Stampin' Up Designer Series Papers are always created to complement each other beautifully and the Abigail Rose DSP is no exception. This card layout showcases the papers and features a cool ribbon technique. This is part of the Cottage Rose LIVE Class Kit.
Background Basics—I adhered a 3-3/4" x 2" piece and 3-3/4" x 3" piece of Abigail Rose DSP to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White. Next, I stamped the Cottage Rose leaves image in Early Espresso onto a strip of Natural Finish Ribbon. How cool is that?! It is perfect for stamping! That must be one of the reasons that this ribbon is currently sold out, and is expected to be back in stock around August 22. I wrapped the stamped ribbon around the layers and secured the ends on the back with SEAL Adhesive.
Sweep Sentiment—I stamped the Cottage Rose sentiment in Early Espresso onto Basic White cardstock, then punched it out with the Lasting Label Punch. I also punched out a Petal Pink Decorative Circle and layered that behind the sentiment. It's all popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I used the Cottage Flowers dies to make an Early Espresso flower die-cut and tucked it under the sentiment, adhering it with a bit of Liquid Multipurpose Glue. I finished the card with a few Iridescent Pearls on the flowers and on the sentiment label.
Cottage Rose Best Wishes Card
Here's a quick and classic card design that is so elegant with the Cottage Rose images. This is part of the Cottage Rose LIVE Class Kit.
Background Basics—I embossed a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Crumb Cake with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder and mounted that onto a Thick Basic White card base. Next, I layered a 4" x 3" piece of Abigail Rose DSP onto a 4-1/8" x 3-1/8" piece of Early Espresso, then tied it with some Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim. It's adhered to the card front with SEAL Adhesive.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Cottage Rose sentiment in Early Espresso onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle die-cut. It's popped up with Dimensionals over the ribbon.
Floral Accents—I stamped the Cottage Rose flower in Early Espresso onto Basic White, die cut it with the Cottage Flowers Dies and colored it in with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Markers. It's attached with SEAL and a couple of Dimensionals. I also die cut a Petal Pink flower shape and tucked that under the label with Liquid Multipurpose Glue. I finished with a few Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels floating around the sentiment.
