Daffodil Daydream Hello Sunshine Card
Here's a simple "thinking of you" card featuring the pretty Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper and coordinating Daffodil Daydream Bundle. I like how it turned out, but I love the original card that I CASEd even better!
I posted the original card, created by Nancy Thompson, back on February 4. I ended up making her card part of my 5-Card LIVE Class Kit!
Background Basics—My version begins by adhering a 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Daffodil Afternoon DSP onto the top of a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic Black. A 3-3/4" x 1-3/4" piece of DSP was adhered to the bottom and the layers were mounted onto a Very Vanilla Thick card base. I stamped a Daffodil Daydream sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a 3-3/4" x 3/4" piece of Mint Macaron cardstock and adhered it between the two DSP pieces.
Focal Point—I die-cut a Crumb Cake Tasteful Label and adhered it to the card front next to the sentiment. Next, I stamped the Daffodil Daydream image in Memento Black onto Very Vanilla and colored it with Stampin' Blends Markers. I used Daffodil Delight for the flower (how appropriate!), Old Olive and Evening Evergreen for the leaves and stem. It's die-cut with the Daffodil Dies and popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I finished with a few Iridescent Rhinestones and a double Linen Thread bow attached with a Glue Dot.

Daffodil Daydream Quick Pocket Card
I CASEd this fun pocket-style card from a swap card I received from Carrie Todd. You can see that original card here.
Background Basics—I started by cutting a 4" x 10-1/2" piece of Daffodil Afternoon DSP and scoring it at the 5-1/4" and 9-1/4" marks. I folded the DSP in half at the score line, then folded the short flap back. I secured it into a pocket by tying some Black & White Gingham Ribbon around it into a double-knot.
Focal Point—I stamped the Daffodil Daydream sentiment in Memento Black onto a Very Vanilla Tasteful Labels die-cut, then adhere it to a Pear Pizzazz label made with the same dies. It's popped up over the ribbon with Dimensionals. I finished with a few Iridescent Rhinestones under the greeting.
Inside The Card—I decorated the inside of the card with a border stamped in Bumblebee and a flower stamped in Memento Black. I colored the image with Stampin' Blends Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo.
