Hi Stamping Friends!
A couple of weeks ago, I shared some cards created with the Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set, which is one of the exclusive stamp sets in the Beginner Brochure called Experience Creativity. There are so many cool coordinating items in the Annual Catalog that it can be very overwhelming when picking out products, especially for a newer stamper. Stampin' Up! has made it easier for beginners to decide on their first collection of products with suggestions in that brochure.
Today, I'm sharing a couple of cute cards that you can create with the Magnolia Blooms stamp set, which is another set exclusive to the Experience Creativity flyer. I love that the stamp set coordinates with the items from the Magnolia Lane suite of products, so beginners will have more items that will coordinate when they want to place subsequent orders. Creativity is so much easier when everything coordinates!

Magnolia Blooms Interlacing Rectangle Card
What a fun and unique design! I love the rectangle frame element that spotlights the flower on the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. Best of all, it's very easy to get this look on your cards!
Background Basics—Create a frame starting with a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock that is die-cut with the Stitched Rectangle Frames dies. The die will be cutting out the center of the frame. Next, cut a 2" x 5-1/2" strip of Magnolia Lane DSP. Position the DSP through the frame and tack them together with Multipurpose Glue. Glue the two pieces onto a Petal Pink card base, adjusting the frame as needed to make it fit nicely onto the card front and spotlights the portion of the DSP that you desire.
Stamped Accents—Stamp the Magnolia Blooms flower in Mossy Meadow ink onto the bottom left corner of the card front. Add the Magnolia Blooms sentiment inside the frame with Mossy Meadow ink. That's it! Wow!
This card steps it up a bit for a cool, peek-a-boo style card. This card has lots of layers and a little bit of coloring, but it is surprisingly simple to achieve!
Background Basics—Start with a 5-1/2" x 6-3/8" Petal Pink card base that's scored at the 4-1/4" mark. Layer the top flap of the card front with a 5-3/8" x 2" Mossy Meadow cardstock and a 5-1/4" x 1-7/8" piece of Magnolia Lane DSP. Next, create the bottom of the card front, stacking these layers: a 5-1/2" x 1-1/4" piece of Petal Pink, then a 5-3/8" x 1-1/8" layer of Mossy Meadow, then a 5-1/4" x 1" piece of DSP.
Magnolia Focal Point—Stamp the Magnolia Blooms flower and sentiment onto a 3-3/8" x 2-5/8" piece of Whisper White using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Color in the flower using matching Stampin' Blends Markers in Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow, with an outline around the image in Light Smoky Slate. Adhere this layer onto a 3-1/2" x 2-3/4" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock, and onto a 3-5/8" 2-7/8" piece of Petal Pink.
Missing Middle—Lay the bottom stacked layers along the bottom of the card, keeping the edges flush with the bottom and sides. Mount the focal point over the top with Dimensionals, creating a bridge between the top flap and bottom layers of the card.
