Harvest Hellos Striped Apple Card
Fall makes me think of apples and I adore this super-cute apple card I received as a swap from Deb Snyder! The colors, patterns are textures are so lovely, and the card opens in a fun & unique way, too!
Background Basics—Deb began with a 4-1/4" x 8-1/2" piece of Real Red cardstock that was scored at the 5-1/2" mark. Next, she cut a 3-1/4" x 9" piece of Mint Macaron cardstock and scored it at the 4-1/2" mark. She texture embossed one side of that piece with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, then mounted it on the inside of the Real Red card base. It's assembled kind of like a "joy fold" card, only it's a vertical orientation.
Awesome Apple—Deb created a foundation for the focal point by adhering a 3" x 1/4" strip of Soft Suede cardstock to the front. Next, she layered a Whisper White circle die-cut from the Stitched Shapes dies. She stamped the Harvest Hellos apple image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Real Red cardstock as well as some striped paper from Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper. She punched them out with the coordinating Apple Builder Punch, then cut those shapes in half and mounted them together. She finished decorating the apple with some Mint Macaron Textile Ribbon adhered across the middle of the apple and a bow added over the top with a Glue Dot.
She also stamped the stem with Memento Black onto Soft Suede and the leaf with Mint Macaron onto Mint Macaron cardstock, then punched them out with the punch, too. The stem and leaf were attached with Glue Dots, then the whole apple was popped up with Dimensionals. How darling!
Inside The Card—Deb added a Harvest Hellos sentiment with Memento Black onto Whisper White cardstock and punched it with the Timeless Label Punch. She layered another Timeless Label shape in Mint Macaron behind the label. Finally, she stamped the Harvest Hellos apple in Memento Black, colored it with the Real Red and Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Markers, cut it out and adhered it over the label with SNAIL. So, so cute!

Harvest Hellos Halloween Card
This card, created by Linda Bauwin, uses the same Harvest Hellos stamp set to create a Halloween-themed, fancy fold card.
Background Basics—Linda's card begins with a Basic Black card base cut to 7-1/2" x 5-1/2" and scored along the 7-1/2" side at the 3-1/4" mark. She stamped the jack-o-lantern image in Memento Black ink over a 3" x 5-1/4" piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and adhered it to the short card front.
The overlapping flap measures 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" and it's scored at the 1" mark along the 4-1/2" side. It's adhered under a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock with the score line flush to the edge of the layer.
Focal Point Flap—Linda stamped the Harvest Hellos sentiments and pumpkin curly vine in Memento Black onto a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White and adhered it to the front of the overlapping flap. Next, she stamped the pumpkin image in Memento Black onto Pumpkin Pie cardstock and punched it with the Apple Builder Punch (because it works for pumpkins, too!). She punched out a Basic Black pumpkin stem and a Garden Green leaf with the punch, as well, The pumpkin is popped up with Dimensionals and the other shapes are attached with Glue Dots. It's finished with a little Heart Epoxy Droplet that's been colored with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Marker. Cool!
This photo shows a little better how that overlapping flap is positioned. I love this cool fold!
