1) Peggy's Stars & Stripes Thank You Card
Peggy Tassler shared another cute & quick patriotic card, simply perfect to show appreciation for defending our independence and our liberties.
Stamped Flag—Peggy used a Work of Art image to create the Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy swatches of color on a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Whisper White, then adhered it to the Night of Navy card base. She used the smallest Stars Framelit to die-cut the Silver Glimmer Paper stars that she attached along the middle with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—She finished the card by stamping the greeting, also from Work of Art, in Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy inks.
Complete Supplies List—"Clear" means a rubber stamp on a clear block. "Photopolymer" is see-thru.
- Stamps—Work of Art (clear, wood)
- Ink—Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy Classic Ink
- Paper—Silver Glimmer Paper; Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy & Whisper White
- Accessories—None.
- Tools—Stars Framelits, Big Shot, Dimensionals, SNAIL
2) Jodi's Swirly Stripes & Badges Card
Jodi Geers also created a patriotic card celebrating the land of the free!
Background Basics—Jodi started by stamping flecks of Real Red color diagonally across a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. I love how she used the wavy Night of Navy die-cut from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits to create give the card a flag-waving feel.
Badge of Honor—Jodi stamped the Real Red badge shape using the Badges & Banners stamp set, then punched it out with the Best Badge Punch.
Bundle It & SAVE! Purchase the Badges & Banners stamp set and Best Badges Punch together in a Bundle to save 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately.
Sweet Sentiment—Jodi stamped the banner images from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set in Night of navy ink on Whisper White card stock, then punched it out with the Duet Banners Punch. She shortened the "free" from the word "carefree," also from the Thoughtful Banners set.
Bundle It & SAVE! Purchase the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and Banner Duet Punch together in a Bundle to save 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately.
