Petal Passion Memories & More Happy Card
I love how you can slightly modify the cards from the Memories & More card packs to create interesting features on your quick, no-stamp cards! This one uses a craft knife to cut out the pre-printed flower and add dimension with overlapped layers. The ribbon, sequins and faceted gem really dress up this lovely card!
Retiring Items Used On This Project: Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack (retired), Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends Marker.
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Trim the large flower Memories & More card to 4" x 5-1/4", cut off right edge.
- Trim the smaller “happy” Memories and More card to 1-7/8" x 2-7/8".
- Adhere the Happy to a 3” x 2” Powder Pink panel.
- Color the flower and leaf images with Light Calypso Coral, Dark Pink Pirouette and Old Olive Stampin' Blends markers.
- Using a craft knife, trim around the three petals from the top to the lower right.
- Wrap the Silver Mini Sequin trim around the card, secure to the back side of card.
- Tie Black Shimmer Ribbon around the card front above the Silver trim and tie a knot off to the right. Adhere to the Basic Black card base with Dimensionals.
- Place a stack of two Dimensionals under the right middle flower petal that has been trimmed to make it pop up. The top flower is bent just a bit up, as it has the ribbon and trim below it, you can secure those ribbons with some mini glue dots if you want.
- Adhere the "happy" panel to the card front with SNAIL, tucking the upper left corner in below the flower petals that have been cut, so that they overlap just a bit.
- Adhere a Clear Faceted Gem to the center of the flower.

Petal Passions Memories & More Embossing Paste Card
Add some Embossing Paste to the background for a fun stepped-up Petal Passion Memories & More card! Even with this added technique, the card comes together so quickly!
Retiring Items Used On This Project: Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack (retired), Sweet Soirée Decorative Masks.
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- Color in Flower Image on Petal Passion Memories & More card with Pool Party, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, then fussy cut.
- Mix two drops of Pool Party Re-Inker with about ½ tsp. of Embossing Paste and apply with Palette knife over Sweet Soirée Mask onto a 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 piece of Basic Gray cardstock and let dry.
- Attach Basic Gray piece with Embossing Paste to the 4” x 5-1/4” Pool Party layer, then adhere to the front of the Basic Gray card base.
- Attach Petal Passion cut flowers with Dimensionals.
- Cut out sentiment from Petal Passion card leaving some white on the left side.
- Add a Rhinestone Jewel next to sentiment.
