Sweet As A Peach Barn Door Card

Here's a fun card style with a barn door style swing card front that covers up the message inside. Too Cool!

Barn Door Basics – Start with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Pale Papaya cardstock and score it at the 5-1/2" mark. Then, cut across the front panel at the 2-1/8" mark to the 5-1/2" score line and again from the top of the score line down to the 2-1/8" cut. Next, emboss the front panel with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder, leaving about 1/2" from the fold plain. Tie Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the barn door and trim ends.

Focal Point – Stamp a Sweet As A Peach sentiment in Calypso Coral onto a Basic White Tasteful Labels die-cut, then pop up onto barn door with Dimensionals. Ink up the Sweet As A Peach peach image in Pale Papaya ink, then use a Sponge Dauber to add Calypso Coral ink around the edges of the stamp before stamping onto Basic White scrap. Stamp leaves with Mossy Meadow ink onto Basic White scrap. Die-cut both images with the Peach Dies and adhere around label with SEAL Adhesive and Dimensionals. Die-cut a small Pale Papaya strip with the Peach Dies and stamp the other part of the greeting in Calypso Coral on it. Adhere it over the label with SEAL. Add a Bumblebee Trinket with a Glue Dot.

Inside The Card – Stamp a Sweet As A Peach sentiment on the bottom of a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White. Add three 1-3/4" x 1-5/8" pieces of You're A Peach Designer Series Paper across the top leaving 1/8" border around each. Oooh, so fun!

Sweet As A Peach Joy Fold Card

Here's another fancy fold card, this time a joy fold, featuring the pretty Sweet As A Peach Bundle.

Background Basics – Start with a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Pale Papaya cardstock and mount it to a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" quarter sheet of Basic White cardstock. Next, score a 7" x 3-3/4" piece of You're A Peach Designer Series Paper at the 5" mark, fold and adhere the largest panel to the front of the card so the panel opens like a book. A smaller 7-1/2" x 2-3/4" piece of Pale Papaya cardstock is then scored at the 4-1/4" mark and mounted onto the inside center of the DSP with it open opposite of a book.

Focal Point – Stamp a Biggest Wish birthday sentiment onto a 3-1/2" x 1-3/4" piece of Basic White and adhere to the front of the joy-fold card. Stamp the Sweet As A Peach peach image onto Pale Papaya cardstock with stamped-off Calypso Coral ink. Stamp the leaf in Old Olive ink onto an Old Olive cardstock piece. Die-cut both with the Peach Dies and adhere them next to the sentiment. Add a white double bow from the Essentials Baker's Twine Pack with a Glue Dot.

Inside The Card – Add a 4" x 2-1/2" piece of Basic White to the inside for a message space. Decorate it with some stamped Sweet As A Peach images to dress it up a little!
