Playful Pets Sweet Schnauzer Card #1
Laura Milligan's Playful Pets card is simple and sweet. It's a perfect way to wish pet lovers a happy birthday or congratulations for a special day!
Background Basics—Laura's card begins with a large Whisper White Stitched Rectangle die-cut mounted onto a Real Red card base. She added some strips of Playful Pets Designer Series Paper to the background, mounted in a staggered and overlapped way. The 1/2" wide strips measure 4-1/8", 4-1/2" and 4-1/4" in length. She finished the background by stamping a Pampered Pets sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the corner of the rectangle.
Dandy Dog—Laura stamped the Pampered Pets schnauzer image in Memento Black onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes oval, then mounted it onto a Basic Black Layering Ovals die-cut. It's popped up with Dimensionals. She colored in the dog's collar with Real Red Stampin' Blends Marker. I love how she added a little Playful Pets Real Red stitched ribbon as a knot to the collar with a Glue Dot. She finished by adding a few Red Rhinestones on the oval, too. So cute and so quick!

Playful Pets Sweet Schnauzer Card #2
Here's another adorable Playful Pets Suite card featuring the schnauzer image, this time created by Jaye Ciontea! She created a card with a fun opening that's sure to make the recipient smile!
Card Basics—The Real Red card base measures 11" x 4-1/4" and is scored at the 4-1/4" and 5-1/2" marks. Jaye added a 1" x 4-1/4" strip of Playful Pets DSP down the small front panel of the card, then wrapped some of the Real Red stitched ribbon around the panel, securing the ends on the back. Then she adhered the small scored panel to the inside of the card, creating a 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" card front that actually opens. She finished by tying a double-bow with the Playful Pets black & white baker's twine and attaching it onto the ribbon.
Background Basics—I love how Jaye did the background! She lightly sponged Gray Granite ink onto the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and ran a 4" x 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. The result is a beautifully shaded brick textured background.
Sweet Sentiment—Jaye stamped the greeting from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Real Red onto a Whisper White Stitched So Sweetly die-cut. It's layered onto a 2-3/8" x 1-3/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock and it's popped up with Dimensionals
Sweet Pup—Jaye stamped the sweet schnauzer image from Pampered Pets in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White cardstock and colored it with Stampin' Blends Markers. She used Smoky Slate, Flirty Flamingo and Real Red to color in this sweet pup, then die-cut it with the coordinating shape from the Pets die.
Inside The Card—Jaye decorated the inside of the card to be as adorable as the card front! She stamped the Pampered Pets greeting and bowl in Real Red onto a 4" x 4". She added a 4" x 1/2" strip of Playful Pets DSP and 4" x 1/8" strip of Basic Black along the bottom. Love it!
