Two Sweet Thinking of You Cards

Hi Stamping Friends!

It's so important to stay connected with our friends and loved ones during this crazy time. Handmade greeting cards are a great way to let them know that you're thinking of them and missing them and looking forward to seeing them again soon.

Today, I'm sharing two sweet Thinking of You cards that I received in a recent swap. Both of the stampers are Million Dollar Achievers and are spotlighting their Million Dollar Achiever stamp set!

But first…don't miss my exclusive limited-time offer!

Lots To Celebrate hello 1 - wood
Swap Card Created by Susie Wood.

Susie's Lots To Celebrate Hello Card
Susie Wood helped create the Lots To Celebrate stamp set for part of her Million Dollar Celebration and she features it on this pretty Thinking of You swap card!

Background Basics—Susie began her card by embossing the right side of a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock. Next, she added a 1" x 5" strip of Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper down the left side before adhering the layers onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Crushed Curry and mounting it onto an Old Olive card base.

Sweet Sentiment—Susie stamped the Lots To Celebrate greeting in Old Olive ink onto a 3-3/4" x 1-1/4" piece of Old Olive. That strip is layered onto a 3-3/4" x 1-1/2" strip of Crushed Curry and adhered to the card front.

Jar of Leaves—Susie stamped the Lots To Celebrate jar outline in Smoky Slate ink onto Whisper White. She added the multi-leaf image, stamped in Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry, to the inside of the jar, then punched it out with the Jar Punch. She tied some Linen Thread around the top of the jar and popped it up with Dimensionals. Susie then stamped the lid of the jar in Soft Suede ink onto Whisper White, hand-cut it out and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I love the tiny tag on the jar! Susie stamped the small "hello" in Old Olive onto Whisper White, then punched it with the tiny tag in the Gift Bow Builder Punch. So cute! She also added a couple of Crushed Curry Playing With Patterns Resin Dots to the sentiment layer. She finished by punching Old Olive, Soft Suede and Crushed Curry leaves with the Autumn Punch Pack and attaching them along the bottom of the card. Love all the details!

In The Pines thinking of you 1 - gaines
Swap Card Created by Terri Gaines.

Terri's Framed For You & In The Pines Card
Terri Gaines spotlighted the versatility of her Million Dollar Set called Framed For You on her swap card. I love the concept behind this stamp set! It includes a mini wooden frame image as the main stamp, along with sweet images that could go inside the frame. But the creative possibilities don't end there! You can put that frame around ANY small image for your own personalized mini frame!  Her card shows how the In The Pines trees trio looks fantastic inside the frame!  Awesome!

Background Basics—Terri's card begins by embossing a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Old Olive cardstock with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder and mounting it onto an Old Olive card base.

In The Pines thinking of you 2 - gaines

Fabulous Frame—Terri's stamped the Framed For You frame image in Soft Suede ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. Next, she stamped the In The Pines trio of trees outline image in Mossy Meadow ink inside the frame. She added the "fill" image with stamped-off Mossy Meadow over the top. After hand-cutting the frame, she embossed the stamped images with the Subtle Embossing Folder before mounting it onto a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" square of Soft Suede cardstock.

Golden Accents—Terri tied the Old Olive All The Trimmings Ribbon around the frame and tied it in a double-knot. It's popped up with Dimensionals over a 3" x 3" piece of Gold Foil that she had also embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. I love how extra-shiny the foil becomes when you emboss it with that folder!  Too Cool!  She finished by adding a few gold Metallic Pearls near the bottom of the card.

Sweet Sentiment—Terri stamped the In The Pines greeting in Old Olive onto Very Vanilla cardstock, die-cut it with the Tasteful Labels banner die and popped it up over the ribbon.
