Vibrant Vases Happy Birthday Cards

These are the final two cards that I shared in last week's Vibrant Vases LIVE Class. I will miss these adorable images…they are retiring on June 2!

Vibran Vases Happy Birthday Cards - coastal

Background Basics—I texture embossed a 5" x 2" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, then fishtail cut the end before mounting it onto a Coastal Cabana card base.

Focal Point Background—For the background, I adhered a 3" x 3" piece of Pear Pizzazz Subtles Designer Series Paper to a 3-1/8" square Basic Black layer and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

Focal Point—I stamped the Vibrant Vases images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Whisper White Stitched Shapes square first. Next, I stamped the "fill" images in Coastal Cabana and Highland Heather. I stamped the flowers in Memento Black onto scrap Whisper White and colored them in with Light Pumpkin Pie and Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Markers, with Light Old Olive Blends for the leaves. I fussy-cut the flowers and adhered them above the vase with SNAIL.

Finishing Touches—I stamped a Label Me Bold sentiment in Memento Black, hand-cut that and adhered it across the vases. The whole layer is popped up with Dimensionals. I finished with a couple of Basic Pearls Jewels next to the square.

Two Cool—The second card has a Soft Sea Foam card base with a Coastal Cabana banner.

Focal Point—I adhered a Soft Sea Foam DSP background onto the Black square this time. The vases and flowers are exactly the same as the first card, except that I turned the first vase upside-down for a little different shape. How fun and Too Cool!
